The Blazers throughout the seasons have traditionally been a second half team or at least had a lot of second half players. BRoy comes to mind, he always played his best at the endgame and now LIllard is showing similar tendencies. Will we be a 2nd half team as far as the season goes? First game is a home game we should win. I'm hoping for a better endgame to the season. Stotts said in preseason we'd be better in April than November. April's not far away now. a couple of bench players are starting to show promise.

Reasons why we have been that in the past are because we have usually had a solid team as a whole and usually we have always been in the playoff race. We are very close to the eight seed which could drive this team to go on a tear but unfortunately our bench is... well you all know. Hopefully our five starters can maintain this great play or our bench steps up or we acquire a bench. Always hoping for the best.

I am sure we will be better in April but it is all relative since most of the league will be as well. Ideally I want to see us compete then end up with the 12th pick in the draft taking Victor Oladipo. From there we can add a piece or two via free agency and make a legit run at the playoffs next year.

The problem with JJ remains the same at the 4 or 5 he is just not a good enough defender. Milsap and especially Smith are good defenders. The also both offer more on the offensive side than JJ does.

Exactamundo. Seriously though, both of you''ll are right. The blame should be placed on the attacker, not Lillard. That being said, Dame should have stepped in.

Sanders is 6''11" Cailin he is about 5 pounds lighter than LA so his size should not be an issue.

I completely agree. Pierce would bring a culture change. And we as a team really needed someone to help our young players through the tough times. Jeffires and Pavlovic were veterans who didn''t see much court time and from what I saw didn''t real...

Joakim Noah has had his injury troubles. His crazy game and high energy make him a constant injury threat. What separates him from Oden and Rose (I had to just mention him) is his willingness to play the way he loves.
