Deandre Jordan from the clippers i keep hearing that the clippers are shopping him. how would he look next too LA and Batum and Lillard. he has a large contract but hes young can block shots, athletic, plays D his O is getting better by the year, idk what we would have too give up too get him but id certainly give up anybody outside of LA,Lillard,Batum. he could def but our center of the future what do you guys think blazer nation ? plus Neil knows him very well !

jordan crawford is on the market too i think we should make a play for him he'd be O off the bench and get other people involved. he'd have the green light off the bench forsure & his contract is around 2 million .

I think it would be very hard to get him, plus he is wayyyyy overpaid. Outside of Aldridge and Batum, no one makes over 10 million a year. Jordan makes 10 million a year, and its only going to increase. Picking him up would take away a lot of the cap room this offseason. I do like Jordan Crawford. He makes very little in salary, and with Washington prefering Beal, he is tradable. I think a bench player plus 2 of our second round draft picks would be enough and would fill in the need for a 6th man.

Speaking of Outlaw... he's currently got a 3yr. $3million/yr. deal (he's 28 now); howz 'bout bringin' him bak home?  I miss that guy!  I think he'd mesh well w/ our guys & b that guy to provide bench scoring that could occasionally run w/ the starters :)

ps also a BIG NO to Deandre for all the above reasons

Steve Blake and Outlaw for Camby was a great deal for us. Outlaw had two decent years for the Blazers and has been just dreadful since leaving. Blake shots the corner three and does not much. Camby gave us the rebounding and defense we asked from him. If we are going to get more trades like that then ever deal should be with the Clippers

Camby was 1/4 of the reason we even made it to the playoffs. Unmentioned abover but was a great free throw shooter, and was a great teammate.

deandre would be great if we could get him for cheap he doesnt need to be for the future i still see some potential in leonard he just need to build some more muscle and maybe a mid range jumper which i think he very capable of doing having to big men who can shoot jumpers would be nice clear up the paint for lillard to drive

I do not see the hate on Deandre, he would fit pretty damn well in our starting lineup. He is actually not bad at all with the ball in the post. Look at some Clipper highlights when they give him some freedom. I think he is absolutely worth his contract, a strong, defensive minded, athletic center who is still like 23 years old and only improving. Getting him is not even an option despite the rumors he won't be leaving L.A. and I really believe that, however getting him without disrupting Dame, Lamarcus, Nic, and Wes would be incredible; I would say JJ because I love JJ but I assume he would be involved if a transfer were to be made.

Center is and for a very long time has been our biggest need. It HAS to be addressed if we are going to get anywhere and I think Meyers will be an excellent backup in a few years but I don't see him being a dominant starter for a playoff team.

That said, look at the 2013 Free Agents. Do you see any center on that list that would be beneficial and get paid less than 10mil? The answer is no. And that is why I fully support an effort to get DeAndre Jordan. Unlike LA and Hickson, DJ can play defense in the post which is our biggest weakness ever since Camby left. While our bench is terrible, we could have won a handful of games this year if we just played better post D.

The argument that DJ or any other trade-block center is "too expensive" is simply a bad argument. EVERY relevant and skilled center is going to be paid a lot more money than we would like, that's just what the position has come to these days. Yes it will bite into our cap room, but if Olshey is smart, that cap room would go to an answer at the center position anyways. And I like Jordan more than the other guys on that list who will get even larger offers this summer.

Please give me a scenario where we spend less than 10mil and get a long term solution at center. Going after Jordan makes sense.

Hickson, Freeland, Leonard, second round or Deandre Jordan, Willie Green

I would do this in a heartbeat.

Clippers are considering Bledsoe for Milsap...now they could trade Bledsoe for someone else....Milsap and Hickson would both be rentals.

Jordan is coming up in trade rumors too..

Sean Deveney of SportingNews.com reports that issues between DeAndre Jordan and coach Vinny Del Negro could lead the Los Angeles Clippers to deal the big man prior to the trade deadline.

Could you imagine how crazy it would be to by some miraculous miracle to get both Bledsoe and Deandre without giving up Wes, Dame, LA, and Nic? CHAMPIONS!
