Trail Blazers (20-19) Vs Bucks (20-18)

    What To Watch For

    Early Lillard Offense
Over the past few games, the Trail Blazers have been getting sporadic contributions from each of the starters. One game Damian Lillard goes off for 37, yet the other four have quiet performances. Another night, LaMarcus Aldridge is leading the way with another 30+ point night and Nicolas Batum adds in his usual stat-stuffing line, but the remaining three put up sub-par numbers. We know this team needs more help on the bench and that when this team was rolling was when all five starters played up to their level. And I think this all starts with Lillard. Normally you'd want your point guard to set up the offense first before looking for his own scoring opportunities, but lately, I've felt like Dame waits entirely way to long before getting into attack mode. Hopefully Lillard has a dynamic first quarter which will set the tone the rest of the way for his fellow starters.

    Take Care Of The Ball
In their five-point loss to Cleveland, the Trail Blazers turned the ball over 19 times - five more then their seasonal average. To make matters worse, they were only able to force eight turnovers from the Cavaliers. On a night when the Blazers did not shoot the ball well from the field (31-79) or at the free-throw line (17-26), those 19 turnovers make it awfully difficult to win a ball game, regardless of the opponent. For the Trail Blazers to buck this four-game losing skid, they most keep their turnovers at least to their average of 14 a night and force just as many. On paper, the Blazers are the superior team, but by not creating easy scoring opportunities and being careless with the basketball are recipes for keeping any team in the game.

I forget the name of the kid thats balling out of control for the Bucks. Sanders i think. That kid is worth pursuing. Blocks and boards. We better keep an eye on him or he'll demolish  us on the glass and throw shots into the fifteenth row.

    2 minutes 37 seconds... 3 turnovers 17-0 run.  Game.

56 turnovers over the past 3 games.  This is ugly basketball.

His year might have been better but it wasn''t so it is time to trade him.

But we would win with him haha. I would resign Eric Maynor and Elliot Williams. Remember Dwight is just months off back surgery and still posted 17 and 12 if I have the right info. That''s a bad year for him sooo... I really don''t see us losing

I see the only way JJ stays is if we were able to trade LA for a dominant center, which I really do not see happening. But we would still have the same awful interior defense if we kept both. It''s not just one on one defense against opposing bigs...

I would agree Harris seems more dynamic but Harkless looks pretty good as well.

Exactamundo. Seriously though, both of you''ll are right. The blame should be placed on the attacker, not Lillard. That being said, Dame should have stepped in.

  8. A question that could have team implications if it were to happen.

I completely agree. Pierce would bring a culture change. And we as a team really needed someone to help our young players through the tough times. Jeffires and Pavlovic were veterans who didn''t see much court time and from what I saw didn''t real...
