    What To Watch For

    Home Letdown
    The Trail Blazers are coming off their most impressive road trip of the year, winning three out of four games in five nights against the likes of New York, Memphis, and Minnesota.  On paper, the Magic seem to be in way over their heads, but we've seen this Portland team before have trouble playing to the level of their competition. And the last time the Blazers returned home from an extended road trip, they laid an egg against the Sacramento Kings to start a homestand. Things have changed since then, for the better, and now the Trail Blazers must focus if they want to make a legit run at the postseason. They passed the first test this weekend when they handled business against a Timberwolves squad missing their two best players on the second night of a back-to-back which was an encouraging sign for playoff dreams. But a new day brings upon new challenges for the team to meet. It starts tonight, in the Rose City.

    Put The Game Away Early
    Orlando has lost 8 straight games. Portland is going for their 8th straight home win. Erase any doubt in the Magic's mind that they have any chance of leaving Rip City with a win.If the Trail Blazers come out lethargic and let the Magic hang around, Orlando has the pieces to make this game more interesting then it ever should. If the Blazers come out cold from the perimeter, they need to make an effort to get the ball inside to LaMarcus Aldridge and let him set the tone. I don't want to get my hopes up too much for the playoffs, but it's hard not to. I didn't expect this team to win more then 30 games this year and they are already more then half-way there. Meaning, games played against teams we should win are must wins, especially considering how difficult our schedule gets in January.

    Win this game,and move to 19-15 would really be a strong statement,that we should be taken seriously,cause people still aren't taking our team serious,houston,denver and even maybe minnesota when Healthy are taken more serious then us

    Meh, I am not worried if teams dont take srsly. 
    Because its up to us to surprise the opposition. That is what we have done so far, so if they dont want to recognize the team we have, that is their fault and our win.

    I am a fan of standing by the team in my home town, Portland.

    Blazers have traditionally always gone under the radar in the NBA. When we beat the Lakers opening night all the media talked about was why the Lakers lost with almost no mention that we actually beat them.

    That Jonas Brother would look real good coming off our bench, It's good to see that we didn't have a home game letdown it was very important to have energy early.

     

    Nice to see 4 starters had double-doubles bring on the heat!
