    i think he would be perfect alongside LA , we would still be young but hes a vet brings physical play and can easy get a double double. LA , Batum , Matthews , Lillard , and Gortat would be and amazing starting 5. with lenoard, barton, freeland, all having another year under there belt. idk how much cap we will have or how much our general manager wants too spend but id go get him. assuming we dont resign hickson and smith, babbit, williams.

    Well he is not a FA this year. I pretty sure he will be after next season. 80% chance he gets traded at the deadline though.

    And besides, what'd JJ just have, like a 28 and 16 or something ridiculous like that? Why on Earth would you want someone other then Hickson?

    I also do not understand dropping Hickson I am all for adding talent and personally like Gortat but Hickson has proven himself.

    I like Gortat. It's going to be very interesting watching things unfold as we build a perennial power. When speaking of future roster changes, we need to remember the business side of the decision making process. I have heard, for instance, JJ may not be resigned simply because of what he will be commanding in the market with the season he's having now. As a big Hicky fan, hearing that upsets me, but I remind myself it's a business. Have to look forward, looking at what a JJ would do to the overall payroll picture, remembering that, among other things, money is going to have to be set aside in two years for what likely will be an all-star PG re-signing.

    Besides, regarding Gortat, I'm doubtful there is enough room is this City of Roses for another nose like mine:-)
