Well just a fun idea, what do you guys want to be as our roster next season, so in other words

What moves should we make this offseason/draft??

Here is the roster I would like to see :

    Damian Lillard/ Aaron Brooks
Wesely Matthews/ Chris Douglas Roberts/ Will Barton
Nicolas Batum/ Otto Porter/ Luke Babbit
Lamarcus Aldridge/ JJ Hickson/ Joel Freeland
    Timofey Mozgov/Myers Leonard

Realistic, obtainable changes. This isnt the best roster but I think it is the most easy to obtain.

We can sign Chris Douglas Roberts from the DLeague for the Vet MIn right NOW....he averaging 25, 5, 5 there right now and would bring INSTANT offense off the bench.

Our draft pick hopefully will be in the range to get Otto Porter. He will help our back up wing position. He is like  a poormans Luol Deng/Caron Butler.

Timofey Mozgov is a cheap center to help with interior D and will come a small price tag. I dont think Denver will really want to bring him back since he is a third string center and wont be financially able to.

Post your thoughts, and ideas :)

I think who is available when we make with our top 5 pick in the 2014 draft. I am thinking draft Noel for the "D".

Yeah If out pick gets that high then I would definitely get Noel.

I also think if Archie Goodwin is till on the board and the 7-10 range we should pick him up

Tim Hardaway Jr., Michigan. 6'6 Junior shooting guard. Are sequels always inferior to the original? I'd consider the gamble necessary in finding out here...'consider' being the operative word, as much can change between now and the draft. In years past, PO has not done well when drafting for need either. That said, it's possible Jr may be the BAP when Portland picks.

I thought make some risks at the Deadline (example):

Babbitt & a 2nd rounder to Miami for their 1st rounder.
Pavlovic, Freeland and the Miami 1st rounder to Phoenix for Wesley Johnson and their 1st rounder

With (approximately) our pick 12 and their pick 8 get C.J. McCollum and Anthony Bennett respectively. In free agency we pick up Al Jefferson.

    So our roster ends up...

PG: Damian Lillard, Ronnie Price, C.J McCollum (Also SG)
SG: Wesley Matthews, Wesley Johnson, Will Barton
    SF: Nicolas Batum, Victor Claver
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge, JJ Hickson, Anthony Bennett (Also SF)
    C: Al Jefferson, Meyers Leonard

Fairly complex but not being unrealistic with the players we're getting, our roster would be pretty darn young too. (:

I am a fan of Lillard, Leonard and our strong core leading us back to the top!

Lol, no. Dwight Howard would be the absolute worst thing to ever happen to Portland, and no doubt my fellow message boarders will let you know why.

Joakim Noah has had his injury troubles. His crazy game and high energy make him a constant injury threat. What separates him from Oden and Rose (I had to just mention him) is his willingness to play the way he loves.

Ibaka is a much better everything since he was two years ago. He even has the sweetest nicknames since The Big Shamrock, Shaq Fu. I mean Serge Protector, Iblocka and Air Congo. Dope.
