This should be a boost after losing to the worst team in the NBA, the best team just did the same thing!

Additionally Blazer faithful, I see THIS looking at the standings this morning, with a month of games in the books...

    Team                                   12/13 Payroll                                   Record

    Los Angeles Lakers                100,000,000+                                   8-10

    Portland Trailblazers               56,786,970                                    8-10

In addition to an aging roster and likely a failing grade in chemistry, Laker management must deal with the albatross of a contract of one Pau Gasol (19 mil, and same as Howard) and the challenge of re-signing Howard following the season.  More immediately, the Lake Show faces a very difficult schedule in this month of December, having played a bulk of their games to this point at home.

In short Blazernation, things could be considerably worse.  We don't, afterall, have a Joker sitting courtside at the Garden.

I am a fan of players that play with PASSION and PRIDE

It's nice fodder, but it doesn't make me feel better about losing to the wiz.  It doesn't excuse poor play or solve any issue with our offense or defense.  The Blazers gave away 2 games to wash and det respectively, and nothing that any other team does changes that.

I think no matter what a team's record is, they get credit for winning a game. When we beat the lakers on opening night there was no mention of us winning but the internet was full of articles about the Lakers losing. I give the Pistons and Wizards credit for winning those games. Teams win games. We lost, so did Miami, so did the Lakers..that's my point in a nutshell. No game is a given win in pro sports. Upsets happen but when they do, credit to the underdog

I agree he showed his potential on a pretty consistant basis early in the season and when he got injured he didn''t really dissappear out there he found other ways to contribute if we had a bench alot of those games where he didn''t score huge but...

Nah uhhh a defensive center, a backup big either position I don''t care, an experienced wing, without having to give up any draft picks. I''d probably do this but I just don''t know for sure.

Rebounds are over rated and so is JJ

I completely agree he could be that voice on the court we need. Lamarcus just isn''t that guy and Damian can learn some on court leadership from him. A small lineup when we need a score bad of Dame, Wes, Paul, Nic, and Lamarcus would be potent.

I mean Damian might have not even been in the same area as them when it happened. Innocent until proven guilty

I would agree Harris seems more dynamic but Harkless looks pretty good as well.
