WHY ISN'T LILLARD ON THE ALL-STAR BALLOT??

    I am very frustrated with the NBA All-Star Ballot's lack of Damian Lillard. I'm going to start a FB page to get people together and make a statement about this. I'll post a link to it in a few. Shhheeeesh

    He should still have some bags packed. He's an automatic pick for the All-Star Rookie/Sophmore game.

    Lillard is really special. He's going to be great for many years to come and we're really lucky to have him. I call him  Oden kharma!

    How many rookies get invited to the allstar game? And who was the last?

    I'd say Lillard is an obvious shoe-in for the rookie-soph game, but I HATED that they let Griffenstein into the All-star game in his sophmore year (which was really his rookie year since the entire previous season he had been injured/rehabbing, so NO ONE had seen him for a full season yet and he gets to be an all-star? TOTAL BS), so I don't know if I'd be pushing for the trend to continue of letting young guys in to the top prestige so immediately... and again, that is very literally the reason why we have a rookie-soph game.

    Look, there's no doubt Dame will be an all-star, and probably soon. There is no need to rush it! On top of that, do you know how to almost surely RUIN a good young athlete? Overblow his head with constant ego-boosts...

    Obviously, Lillard is Mr. Johnny Cool in the spotlight and is incredibly mature for a rookie, but let's not test it, ok? The last thing we want is for our PGOTF to become the next Deron Williams, who has never had a slice of humble-pie in his life that wasn't force fed to him by a dominant opponent.

    Keep Lillard grounded, for those are the best heroes :) Looking forward to watching him in the Red n Black for years (AND YEARS) to come!

    Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
