Last nights game against the Spurs our starters combined for 105 pt. That's an incredible stat in and of itself. Our bench however had 4 pts. We were playing the team with the best record in the west and we can hang with the best if our starters play a perfect game. If LaMarcus hits that desperation 3 we may have gone on to win that one. All in all a great basketball game by the core. Congrats to Batum for a career night scoring. How do we get our bench to provide at least 2 players with double digit production? Who will those guys be and when will they step up? Ronnie? Sasha? Joel? Luke? Victor? Will? How does the team put them in a position to succeed? Can Nolan wake up? Forget trades folks, until someone on the bench shows more value we don't have assets. There's not much out there available either in positions we need help in. I think it's gotta be Ronnie, Sasha, Meyers and Joel. I think Will is a work in progress and will take at least this season to develop. Maybe Luke and Nolan can show me some promise before the trade deadline. As a fan, I'm done bashing any Blazer that suits up but there has to be a gem in the wings waiting to have a breakout game...who's it going to be?

We have one of the best starting 5 in the league. No one will step up on the bench. No one has the ability to create their own shot and that can drop 12-15 points a game. Price, Sasha, Jeffries, are defenders and veterans. Sasha can score the best out of them. Luke is probably the best scorer on our bench but he is a weak link on defense and everything else. Freeland should get more minutes. Hes someone we can throw it down into and maybe open some shots for Sasha and Luke. I wish Myers could have scored some of those jumpers . I wish we would throw it down in to myers and see what he an do. He is a great FT shooter.

I dont really have any hope for any scoring on our bench. I love those guys but, no one has any consistent offensive abillities. Sign Pietrus or Micheal Redd.  Thats the only solutions i can think of. We should play our bench more. So our starters dont get any problems with their health.

I totally agree with you siccolo. We need to sign one of the two or else this season will become unbearable to watch.

I HATES FREELAND, HE CAN'T SHOOT, HE ALWAYS LET THE OTHER TEAM FOR A EASY LAY UP

Finally against Sac last night our bench scored 19 pts. Ronnie and Sasha got some minutes. Nolan made a 3 and we had a cushion of a lead for them to get enough time on the court together to get in rythym. It's progress. Freeland had disappointed me offensively but was good on defense last night as well. the bench is deferring to the starters on court with them and should. Ronnie has now played 2 games with no preseason and he's going to be a solid backup pt guard. I'm still optimistic.

If we could trade anyone now I'd trade babbit for the rhino who's lighting it up in Israel right now. Babbit makes 3 times the Rhino's paycheck and isn't half the player. Babbit would be perfect in Europe where there's no defense to speak of and a lot of jump shooters

Batum is too good at everything to be dumped for somebody. Particularly an old washed up Mike Dunleavy! I don''t know why everybody is making such a big hub-ub about it after his injury. I didn''t hear you guys calling for him to be traded after the&...

Nah uhhh a defensive center, a backup big either position I don''t care, an experienced wing, without having to give up any draft picks. I''d probably do this but I just don''t know for sure.

I completely agree he could be that voice on the court we need. Lamarcus just isn''t that guy and Damian can learn some on court leadership from him. A small lineup when we need a score bad of Dame, Wes, Paul, Nic, and Lamarcus would be potent.

I mean Damian might have not even been in the same area as them when it happened. Innocent until proven guilty

I would agree Harris seems more dynamic but Harkless looks pretty good as well.
