So far in two pre-season games, Victor has only tallied 12 total minutes and all of those came in garbage time against the Lakers. In fact, I believe he was the last player to enter the game for Portland in the pre-season opener. Also, he didn't play a single minute against the Suns. I wonder what's up. It could be that Coach knows Victor will be here and is on the roster but needs to see more out of Karl, Pavlovic, and Morrison as it seems those three are vying for one roster spot (Sasha's contract is being paid by Boston, they would be no financial repercussions for waiving him if he were to go that route). Or the learning curve from the Euro Leagues is much steeper than either we or he expected and it's taking some time to get used to the NBA game.

I'd lean towards the former, DHawes; that Coach knows Claver will be on our roster so right now he's focusing on minutes for the guys he still needs to make a decision about... I know his minutes against the Lakers were in garbage time, but in fairness, Victor came out and made an immediate impression. Not so worried about the euro-curve.

Think we're ever gonna see Claver and Batum on the floor together?

I heard today on Chalk Talk that Victor has a sore back but it's not serious. I like him much more than Morrison or Babbit and sincerely hope we keep Pavlovic..he's out played Babbit and Morrison on both sides of the court from what I've seen. I hope we get the vets playing more minutes together from here on out. Tonight we'll get a look at Barton and I hope he has a great night.

If seems like we have 8 Small Forwards, and like 1.5 Point Guards. It might be something the Blazers should balance out before we get too involved into this season.
I am a fan of multiple All-Stars on the Blazers roster this season!

Paul Allen said how do we get better?  I see no activity in the draft with no draft picks.  The trade possibilities are limited because of the value of our bench players.  We have no cap space.  So I think the improvement of our b...

First Game starts tonight. Houston is a tough first round opponent and they play exceptionally well at home. If we can steal a game or two at their place, I feel like we have extremely good chances.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
