    Last night on Courtside, "Merlin" gave his 12 guys to suit up for the season opener. Here's mine and the reasons why. This is barring preseason injuries or a trade, neither of which am I hoping for. Start with the easy ones: 1. Brandon Roy 2. Lamarcus Aldridge 3. Andre Miller 4. Greg Oden 5. Martell Webster 6. Rudy Fernandez 7. Joel Przybilla 8. Steve Blake 9. Nic Batum 10. Travis Outlaw After that it gets a little tougher. I believe that Cunningham is somewhere between a 3 and a 4. Nate's probably gonna want another pure PF out there, since we really only have LA filling that role. That means Pendergraph will probably get the nod. I also think that the team will try to get Bayless in for any potential mop up time to help his development. Which means Jerryd Bayless and Jeff Pendergraph will be wearing Blazers jerseys on opening night, while Dante Cunningham will wear a nicely tailored suit and sit behind the bench. That's my 12, and I can't wait to see them!

    where is victor claver? (don't call me stupid or anything I haven't had my computer for a long time)

    Claver's in Europe and he probably will be for another year or two. The Blazers picked him in the first round because, besides being a good prospect, they knew he would stay over there for a while. On Courtside this week, KP explained that their Euro player's money (include Freeland and Koponen) would not be on the books when the season started, and they still keep the rights to them. It sounds like a good move, as Claver is not very polished but has a ton of potential. This allows him get some experience in the highly competitive Euro leagues before bringing him over, without affecting the Blazers salary cap situation.
