I've mentioned this in chats before but undersized slashers and rebounders get clocked by big vets alot in the paint. Would't it be in the best interest of the team to suggest sleeve braces for thighs, elbows, ankles, etc? Iverson is my example. He bounced off some of the biggest centers in the modern game and stayed on the court. He might have looked like the Mummy but it worked!

Funny how I tried to mention this in the media day interviews and Casey practically scoffed at my question!!! Made it sound like any fan in the know wouldn't be sayin that to Barton... Casey, we just want to protect our players! You wear a helmet and pads if you ride a bike or go skating and on average there's a LOT more day-to-day impact in basketball! Just sayin :P

If I was a Blazer coach, I'd put pads on every limb and joint that is paddable. Yes, we'd look more like the Winterhawks, but I'd feel better about the on court collisions at least.

Dwight Howard is a cancer to his team and a coach killer and I love Terry Stotts! Howard would be the worst thing ever to happen to the Blazers (And that''s saying allot considering what we''ve been through!) Friends don''t let friend''s pick up Dwig...

The problem with JJ remains the same at the 4 or 5 he is just not a good enough defender. Milsap and especially Smith are good defenders. The also both offer more on the offensive side than JJ does.

Exactamundo. Seriously though, both of you''ll are right. The blame should be placed on the attacker, not Lillard. That being said, Dame should have stepped in.

Sanders is 6''11" Cailin he is about 5 pounds lighter than LA so his size should not be an issue.

I completely agree. Pierce would bring a culture change. And we as a team really needed someone to help our young players through the tough times. Jeffires and Pavlovic were veterans who didn''t see much court time and from what I saw didn''t real...

Joakim Noah has had his injury troubles. His crazy game and high energy make him a constant injury threat. What separates him from Oden and Rose (I had to just mention him) is his willingness to play the way he loves.
