there are alot of centers out there, we could use one leonard isnt ready to be a starting center in the nba facing howard, kaman, andrew, ect.

hawes, zaza, mosgov are open i feel like we can get one of them and we should try

our bench isnt all that much thin as everyone thinks, smith/barton/palavic/babbit/jeffries/freeland/morrison can be a ok bench if you include jj in the mix its not as thin as everyone thinks.

i feel like we can get someone like domar for the raptors, or reke from the kings either one of them would be good with our core of LA, Lillard, and Batum .

what moves do you think we can make blazer nation to get better at center, and bench ??

Honesty I think the idea is not to get slightly better at C with a trade (the guys you mentioned don't have the highest ceilings, but sure they'd improve our D a little for this year). We have Leonard as our CotF, he won't be gold this year but soon enough I think he could be a franchise player. Beyond that all our "centers" are just Bigs/PF's that need to rebound/block/defend since we have LaMarcus... so yeah, I say keep who we have, let Meyers grow over the season, and if we need another true C we'll see what happens down the road.

I like our roster the way it is. The only change I would like to see is bring in Demar Derozan/Tyreke Evans and move Wes to the bench. Or maybe find another center. One that we wouldnt give much for.
    Babbit
    Nolan
Jeffries are the only players I would lkle to see traded. Draft picks should be the thing we should be trading.
Sasha, Barton, Leonard, Price, Jeffries, Claver , Freeland might not be a such bad bench as everyone thinks.... :)

I could agree more 247 I also say we see what the guys we have now can do and then addressed what we need because if our team gels really well we may only need to sign some guys here and there instead of trading away players that could help us down the road.

We also know to get we have to give and right now we really don't have much because LA, Batum, Lillard, Matthews, Leonard, Barton and Freeland are pretty much the core group going forward to build around.

Hawes signed a contract with Philly early in the summer and he's playing power forward, something we have a lot of...Zaza is also a power forward and I believe is also under contract...as Steve Kerr said, there are only 4 true centers in the league these days. I like our bigs for several reasons. They can run, make freethrows, have high character and are team oriented players. I'm actually pretty happy with the roster. Neil swung for the fences with Hibbert and we didn't get him but that allowed us to pad the roster and save some cap money. As for the true centers in the league...they're injury prone, even Howard had spinal surgery, Bogut is always out and Bynum can't play for Philly in preseason due to injuries..the pace of the modern game just seems to break veteran big guys.

I have Batum below Harris Butler Kirilenko and Kwahi Leonard. Probably won''t take long before he below Otto Porter and Shabazz Muhammad as well.
