This is his learning year, he will do a lot of great things this year. Next year he has the potential to be #3-#4 center in the entire NBA, behind only Dwight, Andrew, and perhaps Roy or Javale.

I dont think Leonard will be a top 5 center in this league any time soon. Big men take a while to develop. I think in 3-4 years he can be in the top 10. I can see Leonard be a 12 points 10 rebound 2 block type of guy. He reminds me of Joakim Noah.

He is considering himself like a Noah's type of player. We don't know how many minutes he will get under Stotts but in my opinion stats around 6/4/0.5 would be reasonable. Keep in mind they probably won't use him as a low-post threat , I expect him to making putbacks , being a roller&popper ocasionally , collecting a grabage points and being feeded for easy two under the rim.

Leonard is going to beat a lot of bigs up and down the court.Offenseively thats an asset. I think defensively is where he'll struggle early. Not vertically or laterally, but mentally. Just learning the game at this level. All Jarred Jeffries can teach him is how to take a charge. With no servicable bigs available, the best we can hope for is a quality big man assistant coach.

If he gets 25 minutes a game I think his stats will be 8/8/1 with 5+ fouls until he figures out the pro game.

Guys, "until he figures out the pro game" is very short term.  All that means is, we should be asking how long it will take him.

Meyer's Leonard has the potential to be one of the great centers in the game...the real question is whether he will realize that potential, or fade over time.  We will not know for a couple years, though we may get indications from his first game.

I for one am looking forward to watching the outcome.

I do agree that his minutes could be limited by foul trouble for a while though.

im excited to watch him and freeland. i like meyers attitude so far, hope he continue to improve. I think he will embrace an enforcer role, an offensively blessed przybilla is my hope for him.

Good comparison jwood. He reminds me alot like David Robinson as well. He has a ways to go, but he definitely has the will and talent to compare.

I guess Batum would be a good fit since Ilysavoa plays 4 more than the 3, which I didnt know lol

I think this would be a really good deal for Bucks then. They can draft Dieng with the 10 and maybe Franklin with their pick.

You''re right. They should dump Monta though. I was thinking maybe the Rockets could use the number 1 pick to get the lakers to do a sign and trade for D12.

Paul Allen might sell the Blazers but the Blazers will never leave Rip City.
