    While (as of this post) the coaching search is still under way, Joel Przybilla is contemplating his next move, and we watch our international Blazers take part in the Olympics, let's pause and take a look at what and when former Blazers of the past year or so will return to the RG. (If you'd like to throw in local guys who haven't played for the Trail Blazers, feel free to add that too.) As you look at these dates*, think about what guys will get some extra attention, albeit good or not so good, as they step back in the Rose City. [Your personal biases should only reflect on how you will respond, not necessarily as the fanbase.]

    *I am considering only the first time the teams meet at the RG, whether or not they return.

    Thu 11/8: Jamal Crawford and the suddenly relevant Los Angeles Clippers.

    Sat 11/10: Patty Mills and the timeless San Antonio Spurs.

    Fri 11/23: Brandon Roy, Dante Cunningham and Martell Webster and the new rival T-Wolves.

    Wed 12/26: Travis Outlaw and the Seattle, er, Sacramento Kings in the same matchup as three days before. (Leniently counting Travis as well.)

    Thu 1/10: Juwan Howard and his Cabbage Patch-ing supposedly returns with the poised-to-repeat Miami Heat.

    Sun 1/13: Hasheem Thabeet takes his height with the Oklahoma City Thunder. (Might this one be worthless posting here?)

    (As much as I want to include Jeff Pendergraph as Indy makes their stop in January, he's highly unlikely to play.)

    Wed 2/27: Andre Miller and the now Rudy-less Denver Nuggets.

    Tue 3/12: Jerryd Bayless, Zach Randolph and the Memphis Grizzlies come as close as they'll get to their old homeland once again.

    Thu 3/14: Cupcake- Raymond Felton, Marcus Camby, Kurt Thomas all present the "one year later" effect with the New York Knicks. (Sidenote: they've all worn Knicks uni's before.)

    Wed 3/27: Gerald Wallace (and possibly Armon Johnson) returns to Portland and reveals just how worth the trade for Damian Lillard was with the now Brooklyn Nets away from the Barclays Center.

    Wed 4/17: Jarrett Jack and the Golden State Warriors of San Francisco.

    Look for these other recent Blazers to (likely) find new teams soon: Joel Przybilla, Craig Smith, Jonny Flynn, Martell Webster. Feel free to throw in any others I have missed. (P.S. I'm not counting Greg Oden just yet.)

    Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
