I have been thinking about Roy and how this new procedure on his knees has given him the possibility of playing again.  Then I heard that Kobe and Grant Hill underwent the same surgery and are still playing.  Why wasn't our medical staff using similar procedures on Roy to see if he was going to be able to play.  Losing Roy and seeing he will be playing for Min just doesn't feel right.  Maybe we could have used the procedure on Roy and he would be playing for us.    Are we doing everything for E. Williams so he will have minimal trouble playing?  Maybe someone needs to check out up to date procedures to ensure maximum help for our current roster.

I'm pretty sure the blazer training staff just barely evolved passed stone knives and bear skins.

There is a lot of treatments out there such as DMSO which was used on me in Portland as an 11 year old when I was shot through the ankle with a 30/30 rifle in a hunting accident. The original physician said that I would never run again and I would always walk with a limp. A second Physician said that there was an experimental option that he read about which was used on race horses called DMSO aka the WONDER DRUG. Horses used to be shot when they pulled the shin tendons but now DMSO is rubbed on topically and within 2 weeks the tendon healed back to the bone. My parents decided to try this option and to our pleasant surprise I healed and by the time I reached high school I was back in football, track, wrestling, and basketball.  NEW treatments are worth a try.

    Amen, Mbmurr.

This is exactly the worry that was brought up last year by some doctor who said he'd mentioned concerns about Oden's knees, and the Blazers Medical staff blew him off and dismissed him. The doctor himself seems like something of a sleaze and is after reality-tv type attention, but it does shed some light on our medical team and whether or not they are falling in to that trap that "old doctors use old medicine".

Imagine how angry fans will be if it comes out that so many of our problems could have been handled better by doctors with more up-to-date education and methods.

Maybe we should go for Pekovic as a restricted free agent and see what Minn will do.

Almost every reporter has done that with his name. It''s not even that tough. It was 2:30 in the morning,  Damian  didn''t exactly look sober, my guess was his entourage wasn''t either. Not his fault. He should have tried to stop them thou...

Time will tell. As it is well known round these parts, I do not have much hope for athletic big men. (JJ Hickson doesn''t count).

Okay, I''ll admit it, I like Asik better. I definitely think they will both have very good careers. And finally, someone who agrees, that Ibaka is a  shot blocker, not really a great defender.

Magic have a center and tons of young talent, extra picks and a future with a lot of cap space so yah the MAGIC.

Henson will be solid down the road but his ceiling is more like Taj Gibson. He is a great role player but not elite like Sanders and Ibaka could be if people were not so willing to shoot on him.
