    I'm glad the deal for hibbert fell thru..  I think it was tooo much $$ when we have the chance to get 2 great pieces for the same amount & as much or more potential...  ;
    I Really think we should go after Javelle Mcgee!!!  Great Length & Defense, athleticism, & huge upside... If we played Leonard, Javelle & L.A  together during stretches,  who could match that level of size, speed, & talent on both ends...?  That would be fun to watch, w/ elliot williams or Lillard at point...  : )

    Also Kaman would be a great pickup, who played very well in N. Orleans last year!!!  Prob. the most under rated & under the radar player of all the F. Agents i've heard are available...  ;
    We should Def. keep Hickson for that all around energy & do it all guy,  bcuz there r' very few like him in the Nba....

    Get & keep the best pieces you can & PLAY the talent we have now!!!!!!!!
    DON'T be the blazers of the past who draft, train, bench then trade away superstars, like Randolph, Jermaine Oneil, Webster (potentially) etc...  ;
    PLAY them & let them grow ON the court!!!  That's how all the superstars the last 3 yrs have made a name for themselves & made huge runs in the playoffs.......  Talent on the bench & wasting youth in the D-League is not what makes them champions......  ; )
    Surround them w/ good coaching & veterans, yes..  but give them minutes & watch what happens.....  Blaze in the playoffs - maybe deep - w/in 2 -3 years...  maybe even this 1       : )

     Emanuel Lewis' character " Webster" from the t.v. show, has a better chance of being an All Star than Martel Webster.

    Tho' webster is a great shooter & has never been given enough minutes to really know what he can do,
    the point isn't about him.....  it's about portlands' horrible record of drafting, benching, then trading off some great players,  w/out ever giving them a fair chance here.......  ; )
    Just hoping the new Gm & team will change that & give the guys like Elliot,  Lillard,  &  Leonard a chance to play & help the team,  even as they're learning & getting better...  ;

    Barton has some potential he is too thin at the moment. He is also a little out of control at times, which he improved a lot as the season we on. His shooting though was just dreadful at times which is why I pushed for him to go to the d league so...

    Calm down rip most of his rosters lately have had a few of the same guys so that is an upgrade over he previous attempts that always contradicted each other.

    Plus rosters are fun to make try a few.

    You know why ripcity cause he fing earned those extra calls the same way MJ did and the same way Lebron has. I mean just watch Lebron play he commits around 5 or more offensive fouls per game just lowering his head running over defenders but never...

    joint option for year three at like 8 million. Then if he works out you got him for a bargain for 2-3 years and if not it costs only 1.2 million for next year.

    Paul Allen might sell the Blazers but the Blazers will never leave Rip City.
