    i would love for us to go after aaron to help lillard and if pacers do match which i really doubt, but if they do we should go after mcgee he probably the seconds best center free agent on the board but i do like what olshey doing so far staying real aggressive i think mr. allen finally found his guy

    I think Aaron Brooks is signing an offer sheet from the Suns so he would be out of the picture.  McGee seems to think that whoever is the loser in the Hibbert saga will have money to offer him.  I like McGee's position and if he holds to it Portland sits in a very good seat.  The main problem is that we are dealing with Kevin Pritchard who plays a pretty mean game.  Kevin may sign the match at the very last moment on 7/14 so Portland would not know how to move forward which could hamper the Batum negotiation.  However, we still have some posibility to sign and trade Batum for D. Williams and Pekovic.  We could even throw in Freeland in the deal.

    If Hibbert gets matched then we should definitely look at Mcgee. If we do decide to trade Bautm to Minny for Derrick Williams we should try to get Ridnour. We could throw in Babbit.

    McGee is a great second choice. He's athletic and would be able to push Leonard in practice.

    I completely agree he could be that voice on the court we need. Lamarcus just isn''t that guy and Damian can learn some on court leadership from him. A small lineup when we need a score bad of Dame, Wes, Paul, Nic, and Lamarcus would be potent.
