Ndiaye said Batum has great respect for the Blazers and their fans, but believes playing for Timberwolves coach Rick Adelman and alongside point guard Ricky Rubio and forward Kevin Love was the best situation for him.

''It was a very cordial meeting. There were no hard feelings,'' Ndiaye said. ''So Nicolas basically talked about his four years with the Blazers and he expressed that maybe it was time for him to look at a place where it could be more happy.'' - AP

Let's be honest, Ndiaye has respect for his retirement.  It's the first time I have heard anything positive from Nic's agent about the Blazers.  I don't blame Nic for thinking the grass is greener in Minn, and after his last season being shoved behind an over paid Gerald Wallace.  But let's be real, he's not leaving Portland.  Suck it up, and get ready to prove you're worth your inflated, contract.  A new coach, starter minutes, and a team of younger players that have a real, pre-season to work together, and Nic will be glad he stayed.

$45 is more palatable than $50 mil, but word is that bonuses (which have yet to be reported) could make it a $50 mil 4 year deal.

Yeah It would be a good deal for them but who Olshey isnt reading this haha. If we can do this trade to start our off season we would be in great shape.

Rip a cap hold is a number given to free agents. Basically the cap hold is added to the teams salaries at the start of free agency. So for example a team has 10 million in cap space but has 15 million in cap holds they are technically over the sal...

You could trade the pick for someone like Sanders or someone young and a little more developed and hope Noel does not surpass them.

Noel was playing at around 220 so I doubt the added weight will slow him down too much the guy just needs to continue his rehab and hit the weight room and he will be fine.

As long as he stops pulling the ball down in the post I will be happy nothing more annoying than watching that happen several times a game

Paul Allen might sell the Blazers but the Blazers will never leave Rip City.
