The Portland Trail Blazers better sign J.J. Hickson & Nicolas Batum to a long-term deals. There are some great free-agents they need to consider and try to sign to Blazer contracts...

    Starting with...Top Priority Re-Sign 1) Nicolas Batum**

    2) J.J. Hickson - Small Forward**

    3) Deron Williams - Point Guard* its worth a try!

    4) Brook Lopez - Center**

    5) Goran Dragic - Point Guard**

    6) Eric Gordon - Shooting Guard**

    7) O.J. Mayo - Shooting Guard**

    8) Roy Hibbert - Center**

    * its worth a try to sign and aquire Deron.

** Portland could easily get these players if they tried, making them all possibilities.

    So...

Come on Paul Allen spend the money we all know you have, make the Blazers a team to be feared!!

One not a chance in hell is Deron coming here. Hibbert, Lopez and Gordon are restricted free agents so saying we can easily get these players is ridiculous. You have some fine names but all of them are going to be expensive.

Im glad those four were together because it made it easier to copy and paste.I dont want that prima-donna Deron on this squad. Brook , Robin, and Jennifer Lopez are all scrubs. Goran thinks he's better than he actually is. We wouldnt know who he is without him having had been under the tutelage of Grand Master Nash. Eric Gordon is physically unreliable. OJ, and Hibbert make more sense.

Those are some nice names, but if we resign Batum you can kiss the chances of getting any of them goodbye.

I think Hickson 5 years 25 million, Illasova 4 years 20 million, Hibbert 4 year 58 million, a back-up pg like Delonte West for 1 year 1-2 million. Batum is one of my personal favorite players but I don't feel he is worth a max contract at this point of his career. I really don't think Hibbert is worth 14 and 1/2 million a year but that is what it takes these days.

WOW!! We got some really critical Blazer fans out there, without any optimistic hope that the Blazers may start to turn this around with Neil Olshey. Yes Portland has chances at these free Agent players. Its a great city with the best fan base in the entire NBA, those are huge selling points to players and with the revenue of those players it will put wins on the board and fans in the seats. We must not forget either including Paul Allen stepping to the plate and offering enough incentives and salary to anyone of those players or multiple ones. I do know on the other hand, its hard not to try to be realistic with the past performance of the Blazers and their lack luster outcomes during such times as when we had Andre Miller and before. But Nate McMillian was an incredible coach and he did the Best he could with what he had to work with. Now the Blazers have to find the next gem to Handle the Reins of Coach, I pray to God! its not Kaleb Canales! I would probably take anyone other than him to coach the Blazers. Hopefully they focus hard on that and get someone who can lead them past the first round and hopefully even further than that. Nicolas and Hickson are worth a raise in salary and it would be great to get a really good center like Hibbert, but anyone making more than 10 million a year in Portland other than the likes of Brandon Roy only during the time when he played and showed his All-Star talents in those Blazer Colors. No one else should surpass that 10 million a year. If they perform like Brandon than Yeah you will get paid like him. But if you cant than you shouldnt be paid that much, there should be incentives, not guarentees till you perform to that level. The Blazers need a collection of good talent, not just overmaxed salaries. No to Delonte West. He is a troubled NBA player and we need not to go back down that road of the Jail Blazers era again.

First need is a centre. And no one will take ten and 13 for 4th or 5th. After like the 10th pick the talent off is huge.

@Meese, it is quite ironic. They also just so happen to have the planets best player in Lebron James who leads them in rebounding with just over 8 a game.

But that''s what separates them from the rest. Look at the Heat ...
