I was just reading some articles and it showed that the Bobcats, Nets and some other teams were interested in J.J. Hickson. Would it be realistic to make a trade with the Bobcats for a draft pick next year in the 2012-2013 Draft? Or do we hold onto him and play him off of the bench!?

Is JJ still on the team and do we have the right to trade him.  If he is still on the team I would wait until we know what happens on the Batum front.

The reason those articles are coming out is because JJ Hickson is a free agent. He can't be traded, and he didn't get a qualifying offer from what I understand. If he goes to another team, we don't get anything back.

Portland would be wise to do sign and trades with as many of their free agents as they can just to get the trade exceptions

Thank you, Knorton. Now more rebuilding or anything. No rookie nonsense. Get a solid Defensive big. Trade every single pick to get it.

I don''t trust big men with a history of injury. Ibaka also weighs more than Noel, but you''re right, early days yet, he could bulk up. I am sure, that he will lose some of his speed and athleticism when he does though. Wasn''t that one of his bes...

Paul Allen might sell the Blazers but the Blazers will never leave Rip City.
