....Now that the draft process is over ? Nash, George Hill, Chauncey Billups, Jason Kidd ? Or should we concentrate on a center ?

OJ Mayo became a FA today.  Like Bass and McGee.  Hearing names like Rudy Gay being dangled, also intrigues me as one of, if not the most, glaring need remaining is a consistent scorer at the 2 or 3 to help LA.  Consistency was not exactly Matthews or Nic's calling card last season, or any season prior for that matter.  On paper, it looks at this point as if Lillard's transition will be made easier as HE will be asked to be that scorer.

I know he isnt a freee agent put I hope we can get  Rudy Gay. He can score and play D. Scoring is something the Blazers NEED! Ive always loved Nicolas Batum  ubt it might be time to part ways. I wonder if we can sign and trade him to Memphis. I wish we couldve kept Hickson but It dosent look like were going to. I hope we can sign a defensive minded center like Asik or Robin Lopez...maybe even Hawes. I hope there was a way to get a starting 2 guard..but Wes is okay. I really like Barton tho.
    Lillard/Smith
    Wes/Barton/Ewil
    Gay/Babbit/Claver
    LA/Freeland
    Leonard/Lopez
This is would be GREAT but .............
    GO BLAZERS!!!!!!

I personally would like to see Rudy at the three and Batum at the two.

    Lillard/Smith/*?

    Batum/Barton/EDub

    Rudy/Deng/Claver

    LA/Freeland/Whino

    J.McGee/Leonard/Gorilla

    * Not that he wasnt already, but Barton made J Cross expendable. The kids got range. Shoots the rock decently. Passes ridiculously. Plays the same Ole' defense. But hasnt quite yet adopted the sense of self entitlement as JC..

I love Lillard, but im sparked about Leonard. We've seen promise and upside before, but for these children to have the opportunity to not only grow, but care about eachother is a blessing in disguise. Lillard is going to make Leonard alot better. And vice/versa. L.A. is going to teach these kids skill and finesse and professionalism. I believe we have found us a couple of gems who go for the jugular, while LA keeps being LA. When Lillard knocks down shots, defenses will have to play LA one on one. And when you play LA one on one, Houston... we have a problem. Houstons mistake was trying to grab pieces to contend with us. They wanted to pick before us, they wanted to pick our projected picks. Why are they hatin on RIP CITY ?? Could it be because of 0.8 seconds ? I want justice, and it starts with beating Houston in the first round, the Lakers in second, and i dont care if yo momma is on the team in the third, the Rose Garden will be off the chain if we make it to the.........

Not straight up. Just trying to generate ideas. For Jordan straight up?? Hell no!!! I''m just trying to see some of the possibilities..

Right now, the most realistic is Asik. If Houston pursue D12, sign and trade JJ and a couple second round picks, maybe Joel Freeland or somebody for Asik.

Nah, Washington would just sign him themselves, save them a pick. Also, no way JJ is worth a lottery pick. Oladipo would be great, for pretty much any team in the NBA. I don''t think it''s possible to get him though. Should focus on getting a defe...

Jermaine O''Neal, Drazen, Z-Bo, Sheed (I know he was already a star but still). Also Drazen was buried under Drexler and Porter.

What happens if we don''t win? Dwight will start his nonsense, we would be out a lot of money, and with no real talent to show for it. San Antonio and Memphis is proof that you don''t need superstars to win.

Special K, aren''t you a cereal? And yes, Batum is expensive, but I think he''s worth it. Why would you take someone who isn''t is as good, just for less money. Then why don''t we take the worst possible player and pay him the least possible amoun...
