New Orleans and Portland have the most exciting drafts, but I really like teams with multi picks and I think Houston is in a position to make a big move... sounds like they either want a big time veteran or they want to be in the top few picks.

Boston and Cleveland are teams that may do some dealing as well.

I actually think there's going to be a lot of trades today and not just for draft picks... I don't know that we'll hear any huge marquee names, but I think Lowry and maybe Millsap amongst others are good possibilities.

what do all of you think of Marquis Teague as Portland's potential PG of the future?  I think if you look at his stats, well, he may look disappointing because he improved as the season went along and he really looked more like the promising high school prospect he was towards the end of the year.  He's a real fast PG with the ball.

When Harrison Barnes was in high school, he was the #1 prospect in the nation.  Teague was the top PG prospect at rivals.com i do believe.

I dunno, I just think Teague has potential to do really well.  I haven't followed his brother Jeff in the NBA, but he was pretty good at Wake Forest himself. Its taken Jeff a few years to start earning himself some minutes and I'd expect the same of his younger brother, but I dunno, depth with potential.   I suppose he should be a first rounder and I wouldn't want to trade up from 40 to get him, but a solid vet like nash leading by example could be a nice combo.  actually I'm pretty much happy with any PG like wroten and machado backing up nash.  lol.

stern's getting a nice welcome from the NY crowd.  they love him.

I like Teague but I'd much rather take Marshall or Lillard.

wow, what a surprise.... waiters... so much for all the non-believers.   his stock flew up baby... somebody's got some faith in him.   TOO BAD for Portland.  Happy day for Lillard fans I suppose, but we're not on 6 yet.  If TRob gets past Kings, i"m going to be so damn surprised.  Portland don't need a PF, but can you pass on TRob?   that's insane.

Looks like we got the man we wanted all along, Damian Lillard. Still a little surprised we took him over Barnes though.

Lillard is a great pick, Barnes is perfect for Golden State, and I think Drummond could fall to us at 11

well, no real surprises with the 6 and 11 huh?   everyone we discussed was there.    I guess they liked the combo of leonard and lillard over drummond and marshall b/c they coulda taken them.

pretty anti-climactic.  You know the worst part of the draft is Jay's big mouth, and Reese's voice altogether.  I do appreciate Jay's insight.  What is it with all these sports shows and games these days though that every network has to have bimbo's doing hair-brain interviews, and a panel of huey, luey, duey, and dork on a panel analyzing everything?   pre-game, halftime, updates during games, post-game, tickers, it's just friggen annoying.  And worst part is, many of them just want to predict stuff and be right so they can garner the most "I told you so" respect.  I wish we had interactive tv and could mute specific voices.

Royce White's stock rose up.  Good for him.

Zeller was a projected lottery pick and he didn't look upset when Henson got taken over him, but he's gotta be shitting his pants.  so many guys in that blazers chatroom were saying zeller or leonard at 11.  that chatroom actually kinda sucked.  lotta morons and the chat either lagged or 20 posts flew in front of my face.

Via Woj, Tyshawn Taylor is headed to Brooklyn-
With the 41st overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, the Portland Trail Blazers select Tyshawn Taylor from Kansas

Kinda funny how far PJIII slid and look where he goes, OKC.  As strange as it sounds, it's kind of a perfect fit for him... he goes to a young team and he can blend with those guys, playing by Durant's side, I think he could be a starter.  He's not going to flourish, but because his stock slid so far, expectations are not going to be high, so now PJ could be a little bit of a surprise.  lol.  strange how things work out.

JJ hixon was an excellent backup for LA I think he was worth the 5.9mil hit we would have taken.  But I do not know the entire plan of what to do with our cap space.

Here''s what I think would make this team drastically better for next season.

This first step is tricky but I would try to move up in the draft and trade the 10th pick and Matthews so we could draft Oladipo.

Thanks Ricky.   I''ll be watching @ 10.   Haven''t seen enough right hand from Shazamm.   Without the ability to take his defender either way off the bounce, let alone finish at the cup with either hand?   Second rounder at best.
