We could possibly Trade the 11th for a SG from any team or possibly a point guard
    We cannot lose the 6th
There is no one Like Drummond that we could get through free agency and the draft

there are plenty of players like drummond and better. the only thing he has going for him is his supposed "potential". there are plenty of players in the draft that have had a better college career than drummond, who only averaged 10 points a game and half of the games he played scored 5 or less. oh and 7 rebounds? put him against the best bigs in the world and expect him to do what exactly? if he couldn't compete in college what can you expect from him in the nba?

give the kid a break. keep in mind, he is only 18 years old. he could easily be a franchise changing beast. probably 50/50. he's right on par for a young college center statistically.
olajuwan averaged 8ppg and 6boards/game his freshman year at houston
patrick ewing freshman year 12.7 ppg and 7.5 boards/game
david robinson freshman year at navy 7.6 ppg and 4 boards
tim duncan 10 ppg and 10 boards freshman year at WF.

and thabeet averaged 6 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks his freshman season. the point being that too much is being expected from him at this point. but your statistics are encouraging.

I think the real answer here is that draft gossip is always gonna overhype the players, whether it's Drummond or Lillard or Waiters or any of em.

They're not in the NBA yet, never have played a game at that level ever.

And yet people are talkin about how Drummond is "only potential" but Lillard is "potentially the next D Rose"! Neither is accurate because it's impossible to prove yet. Unholy, you keep mentioning how we need to stop going after 'potential', but that's all the draft could ever be... a draft isn't part of basketball, it's just part of the NBA promo-plan, to get people stoked on the next season, and all this overhype is exactly what it's designed for. JWood's stats show exactly that; you can not determine greatness by anything established at the level we've seen these players at.

Maybe the only players we can talk about for anything other than 'potential' are the ones who've already put up stats in the NBA. If we need a sure bet at center or pg, maybe we should be looking at THOSE pros, and use these guys as the next best thing instead of vice versa.

I would agree LMA is a decent defender but his help defense and team defense needs a lot of work. It is in these areas that Bosh really separates himself from LMA and it is because of that he is a better player than LMA despite not putting the sam...

Splitter would fill our needs the best. Pekovic isn''t great defensively but a solid rebound and a muscle man who would do decent. Al Jefferson is a less polished LMA with not as good defence and his rebounding is decreasing.

I was looking at some shooting stats and came across a very very alarming stat. LMA was the league leader in FGA from 16-23 feet. Not only was he the leader he was lead by a mile. His 7.3 attempts from this distance easily outpaced Demar Derozan w...

Sug I would start with him outscoring Wesley Matthews. He also needs to get his FTA up and his FG% up and cut down the turnovers.

His defense was decent last year but not that good as he is either too weak or just unwil...
