If it is what it appears to be, Nate McMillain is either a great man, or a Larry Brown who looks for the next biggest paycheck. I think it is the former, not the latter. I really think he expects this team to do REALLY well this season and we should get excited about it. He's telling the Blazers "look, I'm going to show you that I'm the coach to bring this team to a ring. I want a ring. If I show you guys that I am championship coach material, I deserve a nicer paycheck. If I show you guys that I can't take you any further than this, then it is better for the team to look another direction." I also think it is a message to B-Roy and LA saying, "look guys, you need to play everygame for eachother as if it is your last game as a team, because it just might be." He doesn't want another D-Miles/Lamar Odom situation where they get a sweet contract and skate through until it's time to earn a new contract. I believe in Nate, I think this is a great move for both him AND the Blazers. Both will get the maximum benefit out of this deal. Expect one year contracts for Nate until he wins a ring. Once that ring is on his finger, look for them to try and lock him up for life.

I''m not talking about those kinda calls, but phantom calls. Kobe gets soooo many phantom calls. I like Lebron, but I know because he''s a superstar he gets certain actions overlooked. Kobe just gets random stuff called. Remember when Kobe smacked...

Oh, sorry Damian, you make so many I stopped reading them. I don''t because I don''t know much about salaries and stuff. Stephenson would be great, excellent rebounder, Tough Defender, is playing awesome in  today''s  game.

Siccolo, did you mean heavier or lighter? I don''t think Noel will do well in the league. If he stays healthy long enough, he might be a half decent starter, if not, Greg Oden.

Damian, you are completely right on that, let''s just hope it''s not a negative impact (Shout out, Ray Ray). And since when did people WANT to come to Portland? This is great.

joint option for year three at like 8 million. Then if he works out you got him for a bargain for 2-3 years and if not it costs only 1.2 million for next year.

  8. Is Paul Allen more Concerned about Profits then Winning a Championship?

Paul Allen might sell the Blazers but the Blazers will never leave Rip City.
