I heard Milsaps agent said Milsap is a much better shooter than anyone knows. According to him, Jerry Sloan wanted him to just bang in the paint, which is most likely what we would want him for the most but could be very interesting to see what else he can do than what we saw in Utah. I know agents aren't always the best sources to get your information from but it could be interesting.

You got that right on your last sentence about agents in general, but we'll see.....

meant to say, his agent is also his cousin.

does this board seriously not have a "delete" option for me?  that's pretty silly.

I bet Dwight Howard's agent keeps talking about his tremendous Free Throw skills. I guess only the mother of a player can be a worse source when compared to the agent...

Incase you didn't catch the game tonight, Cunningham had 21 pts and 9 rebs against Toronto. Granted, it was in a first game loss, but the game was close and he had a great game. Pendergraph added 12pts and 9 rebs. Either could end up being a great addition to that second unit. I can't wait to see how the rest of Summer League goes for these guys. Oh yeah, Bayless added 22 pts of his own.

I am just speculating but you do not think that the milsapp thing is to drive the price up on Utah so we can get Boozer for LA. I sincerely hope not but was wondering why offer so much for him. He is good but still a little short and we do not need a pf to play the 3 ever. He is to small to step up to center against legit bigs. Its late and maybe this is way far fetched but why we could have done better I think in the trade market with teams dumping space now we cannot do anything unless straight up trade it all just wierd.

HUH?!?! Not sure where that came from Travis, but anyway I cetainly hope noone wants to trade LA for Boozer, if they do, send them my way and I got a coupl o' cement swimming shoes for 'em. I would say that it would be to entice Utah to trade Boozer to Chicago and accept Kurt Thomas in return so that we could get Hinrich. Not that I am super high on him either, but that could have been what this was all about since the price purposely puts Utah over the salary cap. Now, at this point, I really don't care what happens with Millsap or Kirk. I'm done. I want B-Roy and LA locked up, I want the Vulcans to stop being idiots, and I want the season to freaking start. I don't care what Dawson, or Suke, or Isaac, or Chump in Portland have to say about it, I think Portland has a great team in place and they don't need to win the Championship THIS year. Would it be nice? Yes, but would we accept getting to the second round? Yeah. Would we accept Western Conference Finals? Yes. Infact we would be out of our minds if they MADE the NBA Finals let alone won the darn thing. So for those in the Portland Sports Media that I named earlier, please stop being the lemur leaders and running these fans off the cliff, lets see how things turn out.

Wait when did i ever say we didnt have a great team? or was that about locking up Broy and LA.. not really sure.
I honestly tend to agree with about 95% of what you say Ripcity and am generally thinking about the same thing, i just cant always translate what im thinking down the way i want.
But if its about the contracts im just tired of ppl panicing over it is all, id like it to be done of course but i dont feel the need to freak about it over and over. I cant wait for this season to start

Jermaine O''Neal, Drazen, Z-Bo, Sheed (I know he was already a star but still). Also Drazen was buried under Drexler and Porter.

What happens if we don''t win? Dwight will start his nonsense, we would be out a lot of money, and with no real talent to show for it. San Antonio and Memphis is proof that you don''t need superstars to win.
