Last basketball left, might as well start a thread. Who you rooting for? I'm impartial, I'm a very biased Blazer fan so I don't root for anyone else. I have very much enjoyed watching these playoffs though. Hoping the Blazers can get back in this heavyweight scrum next season.

I'm usually West over East and specifically ANYONE over Miami. But I'm almost as sick of the hype around OKC as I am with the hype around South Beach. I can't get behind the OKC fan base--a cheap imitation of the RG atmosphere. What they don't tell you is that those free t-shirts all have little puppet strings attached to them. The fans there are walked through the process of rooting. Sad. I have too many reasons for wanting Miami to lose... so I will just watch and shrug at the outcome. This season will always have an all-caps **LOCKOUT SHORTENED** qualifier in my mind.

Rooting for OKC because they serve as a model for what teams should be like - deep at every position and set up for the future all while being a lower market team. Miami is entirely the opposite, Pat Riley didnt really build a roster, he signed two guys and expected a championship. As long as the big three are there they will never have a blanced roster and as history has shown, you can't win a championship with two superstars, one overrated dinasoar and last minute FA signings. I think Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh are standing in the way of Lebron getting a ring. He wouldve been better off staying in Cleveland if they were patient and developed their bench a bit more - emulating the Mavericks with Nowitzki. Thunder are scary because they have great low post defense and the best offense in the league. And a killer bench that exhausts every opponent. Thats how a basketball team should be set up.

really tough call, i was rooting spurs cause i wanted patty mills to get a ring. now the 2 teams i hate most are in. i decided i just can't stand westbrook though. that and i hate anyone in our division better than us, so the impossible has happened, i'm rooting for lebron to get a ring. pouty face.

im also not looking for the extra negative press we will get for not choosing durrant.

Wow some serious high hopes for JJ there.

@Cailin Isn''t a little ironic that the Heat are on pace to win a second straight NBA title despite being the worst rebounding team statistically in the NBA this season.

I would trade the pick, the team is in rebuild mode and I am not sure Burke is the guy I really want on my team. Since my team needs a PG a PF and maybe a SG depending on how they feel about Afflalo still.

Want to talk about trade LA possibilities then maybe it is time to reexamine the Cavs as an option for LA. Can get pick #1 and some pieces or work out a three way trade with the Bucks and Cavs. If we could end up with Thompson, Gee and Sanders for...

Considering that is the only aggressive thing he has ever done in his life, it is not likely he will do anything. Maybe if he did I might respect him more. But its alright enjoy your higher ticket prices to pay this joker 11 million a year.

Right now, the most realistic is Asik. If Houston pursue D12, sign and trade JJ and a couple second round picks, maybe Joel Freeland or somebody for Asik.

Nah, Washington would just sign him themselves, save them a pick. Also, no way JJ is worth a lottery pick. Oladipo would be great, for pretty much any team in the NBA. I don''t think it''s possible to get him though. Should focus on getting a defe...

What happens if we don''t win? Dwight will start his nonsense, we would be out a lot of money, and with no real talent to show for it. San Antonio and Memphis is proof that you don''t need superstars to win.
