    Alright here goes...

    Restricted Free Agents

JJ Hickson resigns for around 5mil

    Nicolas Batum resigns 8mil

    Free Agents

The Blazers sign PG Goran Dragic

I think there could be more free agents signed, just not as "big named"

    Draft (Interesting portion)

6th pick: Harrison Barnes, SF, North Carolina

11th pick: TRADE: pick traded to Utah for C Al Jefferson

Why this can work- Utah is on overload with big men (Millsap, Favors, Kanter, etc.) Also Utah would reportedly like to get into the first round after losing out on getting the pick from Golden State. We need a young but experienced Center and Jefferson can be had.

40th pick: Jared Cunningham, SG, Oregon State

41st pick: Jae Crowder, F, Marquette

    Projected Starting Lineup 2012-13

    PG: Dragic, N. Smith, Cunningham

    SG: Matthews, E. Williams, Cunningham

    SF: Batum, Barnes, Babbitt, Crowder

    PF: Aldridge, Hickson, Crowder

    C: Jefferson, Przybilla

Scenario :  New GM and D'Antoni have the same agent. D'Antoni talks Nash into coming here. Resign Batum and JJ.

Draft  best pg available for Nash to groom.

    Scenario: Reach out to Sloane.

Scenario: Reach out to Brian Shaw

Even though Coach Kanales' agent too is that of the new GM's, at this point of the " retooling " we need to bring in a few acquisitions that respect the coach that they will play for. No disrespect to Coack Caleb, but we need to get heavy hitters in here.

Utah would want more than #11 for Al Jefferson. #11 and matthews is probably more reasonable from their perspective. I'd do it. Centers dont come around often. And batum or barnes could play the 2 if elliot williams or rookie SG doesnt work out.

if batum can play 2 that'd be great. i really like the versatility with barnes and batum. also really like al jefferson. this idea seems more realistic than most.

I think Barnes will not make it past the #4 pick.  That means Davis, MKG, Beal, Barnes, and Robinson will be gone before our pick at #6.  We will pick either Drummond, Lilliard, J. Lamb, or P jones.  At the time of our #11 pick if we still have that pick Sullinger, Rivers, zellers, J. Henson, and Waiters might be available plus J. Lamb, P. Jones, Drummond, or Lilliard.  It sounds to me like the Blazers will draft Lilliard at #6 and either Sullinger or Henson at #11.  This probably will effect your possible trade and draft scenario but I like the moves you made.  If you could get Jefferson and Dragic under free agency and resign Batum and JJ then you have a good team to move forward.  I think this is the time to use our flexibility in the cap space to construct a competitive team.  Thoughts?

i fear it maybe drummond left and im not liking what im hearing. the negative seems to greatly outweigh the positive. they say he's lazy with a poor work ethic and doesnt know how to play the game, yet his athleticism can make him dangerous. wtf does that even mean? that sounds horrible. from what i've seen he's erratic at best and i dont understand how someone so inconsistent could be projected so high.

Could be good. They have very different styles which could be good and bad. Whoevers style fits with starting unit the best would get it

here's an idea based off the al jefferson idea.
resign batum, jj, joel and flynn, maybe thabeet (not important)
    draft lillard
trade #11 to utah along with matthews and if it takes more than that throw in nolan/flynn/thabeet/second rounder
    sign nash, oj mayo/shooting guard
    you have:
    C   JEFFERSON/PRYZ/THABEET IF NOT TRADED
    PF  LAMARCUS/HICKSON
    SF BATUM/BABBITT
    SG MAYO/ELLIOT
PG NASH/LILLARD/NOLAN OR FLYNN IF NOT TRADED
add whatever combination of 2nd rounders (41st or 42nd)/overseas players such as CLAVER and/or FREELAND though i've heard it's not likely they'll come this year. it's also possible that DIEBLER  may be on the roster as well. i like the idea of this squad though i have no idea on whether the salaries would match or not.

Why don''t we get Bill Walton and Clyde Drexler back? If they return to their All Star form we can go unbeaten. This will be our lineup:

    Lillard/Chuck Norris

    Drexler/Jesus

    Batum/Clint Eastwood

    Aldridge/Bruce Lee
