    1. Steve Nash (still an awesome point guard, but nearing 40 and wants to play for a contender)  via Free Agency (unrestricted).

    2. Goran Dragic (Showed some great skills and production in latter part of the season in place of Kyle Lowry) via Free Agency (unrestricted).

    3. Jeremy Lin (The NY phenom that took the world by storm in a month's time, and displayed a boatload of potential) via Free Agency (not sure about his status, somehow he's restricted, because of Bird Rights, yet the arbitrator has not decided his status, because by the law of the league (which the league is standing by), he's supposed to be an unrestricted free agent, because he's been waived three times in two seasons (not with his original team) and the Knicks have not met the requirements to have him restricted). Regardless, they may only can commit so much money to him, because of the luxury tax and more strict salary cap rules.

    4. Kyle Lowry (I'm sure you guys have heard about his falling out with the Rockets over the course of the season, while things haven't gotten better with all he
    http://blog.chron.com/ultimaterockets/2012/05/disgruntled-lowry-feels-its-his-time-to-move-on/

    5. Kendall Marshall (Very mature North Carolina point guard with great floor vision and leadership skills, though not quite a great offensive scoring talent)

    6. Damian Lillard (More of a combo shooting guard, who is more suited for shooting guard, very good skills - good shooter and able to create off the dribble).

    7. Jose Calderon (Toronto is the market place looking for another point guard, especially Dragic and Lin. Furthermore, the Raptors also had Calderon on the block, this past season. He gets thrashed alot, but he is another slightly above average point guard. Everyone knocks his defense and scoring numbers - which aren't great by any stretch of the imagination, but he's a really good shooter, super efficient, and facilitator (he's one of the better [pure] point guards in the league).

    Other Choices:
    Aaron Brooks
    Kirk Hinrich
    Jameer Nelson
    Andre Miller
    DJ Augustin

    Return with Raymond Felton

    In my opinion...

1st Priority Option: Kyle Lowry because he knows how to run a team and can score on the perimeter, something we havent had since Steve Blake and lets face it, Lowry is better than Blake

2.) Goran Dragic - still a little early for me to be entirely sold on him as the PG of the future, but he is an improvement. Really depends who Houston keeps.

3.) Jose Calderon - you are entirely correct saying he is a pure point guard. My concern? Are we going to have enough scoring power elsewhere or do we need a PG to rely on for scoring? Andre Miller could have been a lot more effective if Aldridge could kick the ball out to him to shoot.

4.) Jameer Nelson - in his prime, a little undersized but knows how to work with low-post scorers. Distributes ball decently. Shoots the 3 great and can drive. Defense? Ehh

5.) Aaron Brooks - used to be my first choice but hes a headcase and who knows what he looks like after a year away

6.) Kendall Marshall - afraid he's gonna be as ineffective as Nolan Smith...

I think you did  a good job of ranking the PGs jonthorpe. Good job on leaving Jeremy Lin and Lillard out of the rankings.

Kendall Marshall & Tony Wroten. Marshall is as slow as Brandon Roy,and guess what ? Thats a compliment. Wroten because he is being groomed by number & 7 in Seattle. I'll take a Brandon student any day. Speaking of which, lets hire B-Roy as a players coach. I dont know if thats feasible or not because of him being amnestied, but i sure would try.

I think if you grab a PG in the draft, then you automatically sign Steve Nash just because he could mentor the rookie PG and Nash wouldn't play a ton of minutes due to age. My personal options:
#1 - Kendall Marshall - then Sign Steve Nash
    #2 - Goran Dragic
#4 - Damian Lillard - then Sign Steve Nash
    #3 - Kyle Lowry

I still love Tony Wroten but he'd just be more of a icing on the cake. He's a combo guard who I'd like to buy a pick in the mid 20's and take him. I think he could be a backup for any free agent point guard we acquire.

What info are you getting saying Brandon Roy is grooming Tony Wroten? If there is any truth to this then i say get him! I love the idea of hiring Brandon Roy as a players coach or any kind of coach.

Since Mike Rice brings up how good Steve Nash is every Blazer game anyway, we might as well get him over here.

I like Jeremy Lin, but if the Knicks don't re-sign that kid, they will probably have riots in downtown Manhatten.

Trade Matthews and Babbitt to Houston for picks #14 and #16 or to Boston for picks #21 and #22.

Or add the #40 pick and trade with Cleveland for #3 and #24. Trades and draft picks is what I think will happen on draft night. It sucks to be Wesley in this situation as he will be representing the team at the draft lottery, Then to be traded on draft night.

I think Batum will be signed then traded as well, due to the comments he and his agent have been making to the press.

That would be a dirty move by our Mr. Nice Guy Chad Buchanan, but as long as he is in the organization i think W. Matthews is safe. But i agree with Batum being a sign and trade. I wonder if Cleveland or New Orleans would trade there first round lottery pick for Batum, it would be nice to keep our two lotto picks and pick up a top 4 as well.

    1. Goran Dragic (still think he is are most likely pick up and best option)

    2. Steve Nash (ONLY if we draft Kendall Marshall)

    3. Jeremy Lin

    4. Kyle Lowry (Trading one of the lottery picks)

    5. Damian Lillard

    Agree with Cmeese

Nicholsan will be a solid player. Hes the new leagues Brandon Bass lol...funny Magic drafted him... He would have been a good back up to LA but would have been dumb at 11

Lamb, Harkless, Henson would have been great...

Okay, I''ll admit it, I like Asik better. I definitely think they will both have very good careers. And finally, someone who agrees, that Ibaka is a  shot blocker, not really a great defender.

Henson will be solid down the road but his ceiling is more like Taj Gibson. He is a great role player but not elite like Sanders and Ibaka could be if people were not so willing to shoot on him.
