I have heard good and bad things about this coach but his record at Orlando is very good.

Is he a good coach? Yes. Would he be an upgrade over Nate McMillan? I would say so. But is he a championship-caliber head coach? That's debatable.

If you recall he had Shaq and Wade on the same team in Miami but couldn't get the Heat past the Pistons. It wasn't until Pat Riley took over that squad that the Heat were able to win the 06 title. He did get Orlando to the Finals in 09 which was by far his best coaching job.

I've heard from a few of the Heat players that SVG tenses up in the clutch and tends to panic in the huddle. How reliable is that information? Who knows. But it does make you think twice.

Overall, I think we could do A LOT worse than SVG and would be happy to have him aboard but I'm starting to lean towards hiring an up and coming assistant.

I have also heard that Jerry Sloan is interested in the Orlando coaching job.  I wonder if he would be interested in the Blazers coaching job.  I definitely feel he would be a step up and would declare a definite lean toward the defense of the time.

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...

Yeah and now Blazers have zero interest in Bynum. I really thought he was worth the small risk. If anything he would be at the end of our bench and we use him as a sub. Hopefully we do make some type of trade for a quality back up center. Right no...
