    During his exit interview on Friday, Portland Trail Blazers forward Nicolas Batum expressed confidence that the team would match any offers made to him when he becomes a restricted free agent this summer and that he would return to Portland next season.

    "They're going to match. They will match, I think, anyway. We'll see what happens. ... Nobody has told me that but they've made me understand that... They want me a lot, they love me, they want me long-term on this franchise."

    Did they tell you that today?

    "Everyday."

    Very confident you'll be back?

    "I'm pretty sure, 99 percent, that they're going to match."

    well that's what I heard. The Blazers told him that they love him. If the Blazers didn't sign him, I won't be worry because he'll be a Spur and he'll kick the Blazers' ass. oh and I won't be a Blazer fans anymore if Batum is gone.

    dude, the team told him they will match, its common knowledge the blazers want batum as a keystone of this franchise and not alot will change that (besides a 12 mil contract maybe)  he has the right, this is his way of saying "I am happy to be a blazer I love it here"

    I think you might be able to deal the #1 for a pretty good offer.
