    glen davis would be a solid backup to LA.... why not pursue him?

    its funny, i had this same thought this morning. He would be a cheaper option than David lee or Milsap most likely, but if this was P.E. he'd probably get picked last. Last year, especially against the lakers, the blazers were running down the court back and forth so much, even the Suns had to take a minute to make sure they weren't dreaming. Now if Davis can keep up with that, then he'd be a good fit, cause lets face it, Boston's players are practically all in their 30's and the only one thats gonna be there in 5 years, (with Rondo im sure giving them the finger for the trade rumors and bolting) is gonna be their mascot Lucky and Scalabrine, who might be the same person.  But seriously, i was impressed with the ahtelicsism that Davis showed. Secondly, if you boston, how can you let this guy go? KG isn't playing till he's 50.
    I am a fan of winning a championship and never hearing the words jailblazers or bowie again.

    1) Glenn Davis couldn't keep up with the fast paced second unit. 2) Boston isn't letting him go in FA, they would only trade him and it would be an overvalued trade. I think with his performance in the Playoffs this year they are going to want to keep him around for the future. Either way I don't think he becomes a FA til next year right? He was drafted the same year as LA and Roy.

    I love the Grit and Grind, and I love the Spurs timeless play. I think if the Spurs get to the finals, they will beat the heat, but they won''t beat the Grizzlies easily, and the Grizz can''t beat the Heat. I know it''s weird.
