This will be a 15 man roster with the top 3 PER leaders at each position

    Point Guards  Position Rank
    Steve Nash PER 21.24  6
    Deron Williams PER 20.97 8
    Jeremy Lin 19.95 10

As you can see there are some real quality PG's to be had this off-season.

    Shooting Guards Position Rank
Gerald Green PER 17.83 Note Green has played well in limited games and minutes
    Chauncey Billups PER 16.11  11
    Jason Terry PER 15.91 13

This is a fairly weak field highlighted by mostly aging veterans Terry, Billups, Crawford and Allen.

    Small Forwards Position Rank
    Nicolas Batum PER 17.36  7
Steve Novak PER 16.04 13  Note PER likely inflated based on limited minutes played
    Chase Budinger PER 14.93 17

If Gerald Wallace remains in New Jersey this thin class gets much thinner likely driving up the price of Batum if Portland wants to retain him.

    Power Forwards Position Rank
    Ryan Anderson PER 22.01 5
    Ersan Ilyasova PER 20.45 12
    Kevin Garnett PER 20.28 13

There is some good talent to be had at this position with the top 3 all posting +20 PER's. Could give Portland options to entertain Aldridge trade offers. Most likely the Blazers will not be active at this position this summer.

    Center Position Rank
    Tim Duncan PER 21.65 5
    JaVale McGee PER 19.39 10
    Roy Hibbert  PER 19.13 12

There is some talent to be had here but Lopez, McGee and Hibbert are all restricted free agents so getting them will not be cheap. Look for Portland to make a splash here especially if they miss out on big name PG's.

    Who should we sign?

I think Indiana has enough to match any offer to Hibbert, and New Jersey's Russian billionaire would go far to retain Lopez too. How about UW grad Spencer Hawes..? I think Kaman won't be a bad player either if under an 8M/year~ish contract. Getting Jeremy Lin or Goran Dragic does sound very realistic for this team, but then the team will likely overpay and I'll be pissed off.

Lin is not an option he can only be offered the mid level exception meaning that no matter what the Knicks can match. Kaman might be okay but I just do not think he takes us to that next level.

I would not mind Mcgee since he is a quality post player which we need badly
