Just a fair warning, SVG does drop "BS" twice during the interview (casually). So if you are offended by that type of language, you may not want to watch the video.

The video is GOLD! Stan is very candid in the interview and doesn't shy away from the questions as he sips his Diet Pepsi like its no big thing. The best part is when Dwight Howard joins the interview by hugging Stan half-way through. You couldn't script this any better....

Simply. Awesome. Van Gundy really isn't my first choice for Portland's new coach, but this video certainly made me respect him more.

We almost got Turkoglu, I think that was a pitch that Portland thankfully ducked. Rashard Lewis got busted for dope while chewing up half the Magic's salary cap. R. Lewis has not been the same player since being taken off the juice. Hedo hasn't played well for 4-5 seasons, and he eats up the remaining scraps of free agent barganing room that R. Lewis left on the table. Jameer Nelson has an inconsistant knuckleball jump shot. The Vince Carter for J-Rich trade was signed at a retirement center. The Magic are similar to the Blazers, as they have only 1 inside presence, and players that prefer jumpers over taking the ball to the rack. It's only that the Magic have hit many more jumpers then the Blazers this year. And their 1 inside presence is a much better defender then ours.

Maybe what Tobyus is saying would make SVG a good fit here? He's familiar with the challanges this team will be facing, he's a coach that emphasizes defense leading to offense which is what we keep saying we want our running game to be built off of, and obviously he's able to be straightforward and brutally honest. Portland likes the no-BS, work hard attitude... so if anyone knows more about SVG's past history, what are some warning signs that would say we shouldn't jump on him?

Paul Allen said how do we get better?  I see no activity in the draft with no draft picks.  The trade possibilities are limited because of the value of our bench players.  We have no cap space.  So I think the improvement of our b...

First Game starts tonight. Houston is a tough first round opponent and they play exceptionally well at home. If we can steal a game or two at their place, I feel like we have extremely good chances.

P.S. Would anybody happen to have a...

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
