I am quite happy with the new head coach. And frankly, from what I've seen, this new mix of Blazers are gelling quite well together, as evident from the last few games, that they have the right nucleus. In a long normal season, I feel this mix of players...with maybe a couple added draft picks...could be a strong contending team next season with a normal season. Portland, I feel, is one of the most underestimated teams in the league. And I feel, next season, if they keep the nucleus of this team in tact, they can make a good championship run.

Majority of this team should be put under contract next season. As a championship team does not always require all Allstars, it depends on how well the team can gel together. And if you look at the Blazer team now, they are gelling well together, as is obvious from the last few games. Shore up the front line with maybe one more big body and I think that'll do it, and/or add one more veteran three point shooter, and you will have the team.

Hey, Steve Nash wants to come to Portland. Add him and you will have a championship!

Smart. Seems about the only thing you can do with injured big men. Nerlens Noel, you''re next.

Here''s my best Mock Draft scenario for the Blazers:

Trade every pick we can to get a starting defensive Center.

Sanders better shotblocker, better dunker and around the rim, Asik better defensively. I think Asik will have the better career.

Well, I still think he won''t do great in his career. Seems weak.
