Magic May Make Coaching Move - via Hoopsworld
A growing number of people within the organization believe that Van Gundy will quit after the season, mainly because he doesn’t want to go through the Howard circus again next season. Sources close to the situation say that Van Gundy was ready for the organization to move Howard at the trade deadline so that the franchise could move on and once again focus on winning games. He’s not interested in going through that drama again next season.
Van Gundy would be one of the top coaches on the market and would have no problem finding a job elsewhere. The New York Knicks and Portland Trail Blazers are two teams that would likely throw a lot of money at Van Gundy this offseason.
Whether Van Gundy quits or gets fired, one name that has come up as a possible replacement in Orlando is Nate McMillan. As ESPN’s Marc Stein wrote on Friday, McMillan is someone that the Magic would target should Van Gundy leave. Howard would be behind the hiring since the two men have gotten to know each other during their time with Team USA.

I don't believe Nate is the right coach for the Magic...or, rather...I don't believe Orlando is the right place for Nate and his style.  So much in life is about being in the "right place at the right time".  Nate in Orlando is neither.

Van Gundy here?  Pass.  While qualified, I think PA can and will do better (I hope)

@ Derrick Rose is MVP... when your team's leading scorer and MVP candidate happens to be the player responsible for facilitating as well, titles are extremely elusive.  Double-edged sword.

I watched Shabazz at the combine and he was a poor shooter.  In fact he did  so bad he did not even show up for drills in day two.  He may be a scorer not a shooter.  If he throws up enough shots he scores.  If someone looks a...

I would agree LMA is a decent defender but his help defense and team defense needs a lot of work. It is in these areas that Bosh really separates himself from LMA and it is because of that he is a better player than LMA despite not putting the sam...

I was looking at some shooting stats and came across a very very alarming stat. LMA was the league leader in FGA from 16-23 feet. Not only was he the leader he was lead by a mile. His 7.3 attempts from this distance easily outpaced Demar Derozan w...

Sug I would start with him outscoring Wesley Matthews. He also needs to get his FTA up and his FG% up and cut down the turnovers.

His defense was decent last year but not that good as he is either too weak or just unwil...
