Why Can't everyone attack like JJ

    Even though they won last night I was so irritated that they only one who constantly attacked the rim was JJ.

    LA & Batum need to grow a pair and play in the paint.  When the Blazers have at least two or three players going to the boards they win plain and simple.

    Nick and LA ATTACK THE BOARDS AND PLAY IN THE PAINT

    Steve Jones was absolutely Brutally Honest on his review of LA and Batum, is Jump Shots not playing the power game.  Snapper indicated that Batum will not be a $10M player until he steps up and is agressive and LA will not be a Marquee Player until he attacks the Boards consistently.

    Why can’t they all play like JJ?

    I am not a fan of the three point shot. It takes awy from the importance of playingin the paint.

    i think JJ and LA will compliment eachother. with pyrzbilla you get toughness but he's not an offensive threat. with JJ he commands some defense so LA has a little easier time. i like playing both of them together. I think kurt and pyrz in the second unit adds a strong defensive pressence and a lot of that veteran craftyness, taking charges, getting in peoples heads. i hope we dont forget about craig smith though, the rhino is still a beast, he and JJ are like the same player but JJ can jump.

    i certainly agree nic shows touches of brilliance on the glass at times i hope he becomes more consistent, but maybe the lack of consistency this season is good, he's shown improvement, but maybe we'll get him cheaper now, then he can develop further.

    i like that wesley is not only attacking the basket now, but he's starting to make better decisions on fast breaks, and actually converting at the rim.

    I've maintained for years now, Nic doesn't have the motor and is certainly not worthy of 10mil.  He simply is an example of wasted, truly unique and special physical ability.  You'd have an allstar here in an #88 jersey if somebody could plant Wesley's motor in Nic.  Can't teach OR learn MOTOR...which is why the linking of the term "potential" to Batum is finally starting to fade.  Finally.

    Motor is a quality worth spending millions on for owners, which is how Matthews earned his contract and why I was so high on Faried in last years draft.

    Because he hasn't been told by Nate to stand in one spot, and don't move for 20 seconds!!

    Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
