I do not want Marshall at all.  I don't want to see attacking/athletic PG take advantage of him, and I don't want to see defenses sagging off of him because of his inability to shoot or drive past better athletes.  Lillard would be a better pick.

I hate picking based on needs Portland needs to go best player available with defensive being a deciding factor

Tyler Zeller Swish Scout Scouting Report
Long Story Short: Mature seven-footer who displays a nice post game with his ability to play with his back to the basket and hit the open face up jumper just inside 3-point range. Zeller’s athleticism is relatively pedestrian by pro standards, upside is limited and he isn’t the strongest player in the paint, but he’s a fundamental post player that can step in and get the job done in the paint for a team at the NBA level.

    Best Case Scenario: Spencer Hawes
Worst Case Scenario: Matt Bonner (with limited range)
    Does Well-
    * Budding post game, comfortable playing with his back to the basket, has a solid jump hook with great touch around the basket and can use either hand, post savvy, good footwork (15.7 pt.s as junior)
    * Smooth jumper, can face up and consistently knock down looks from midrange, efficient from the field (54.7 FG% as junior)
    * Legit rebounder with his combination of size, length, and motor, cleans the offensive glass well (2.9 off. reb., 7.2 reb. total as a junior) and gets fair number of put backs
    * Smart, fundamental big man, ‘go to’ player in the post for a stacked UNC team as a junior, great basketball IQ, does everything at a solid level for a center
    Must Improve-
    * Not an explosive athlete, ‘below the rim’ type player, limited upside relative to NBA bigs
    * Gets into foul trouble quite a bit, frequently ended up playing with four fouls as a junior
    * Struggles to handle post double teams at this point, ball security becomes iffy and can be stripped away if
    Highlights-

Jeffery Taylor Swish Scout Scouting Report-
Long Story Short: Explosive guard/forward with a mature game in attacking the basket, rebounding the ball and playing on-ball perimeter defense. Taylor struggles to create for himself in isolation, lacks great ball handling ability and turns the ball over too often, but is an NBA ready player who projects as a sure fire first rounder in 2012 as is.

Best Case Scenario: Thabo Sefolosha meets Wilson Chandler
    Worst Case Scenario: Chase Budinger
    Does Well-
    * Incredible burst off the dribble, quick first step and ability to burn the defense to the basket on straight line drives, strong finisher when he tries to dunk, good spot up shooting threat from heavy off ball play (14.7 points per game)
    * Great perimeter on-ball defender, exceptional lateral quickness and length to hang bother his man, ability to guard most perimeter players, good anticipation playing passing lanes
    * Great court vision and passing ability (2.4 assists per as junior), outstanding entry passer into the post and for off ball shooters, good outlet passer
    * Persistent rebounder willing to crash the boards from anywhere, has the length, strength and athleticism to board up in a crowd and come away with it (5.5 reb. per as junior)
    Must Improve-
      * Streak shooter, still developing a consistent perimeter game with his midrange and 3-point accuracy, at his best attacking the basket
      * Ability to break down the D off the dribble in isolation and creating his own shot, lack of moves, take away his driving lane and dare him to shoot it right now
      * Ball handling, tends to loose his handle heading through traffic and tries to squeeze some passes into a crowd (2.6 turnovers per)
    Highlights-

Chad Ford's insights from the latest prospect workout in Santa Barbara-
John Jenkins just hit 13/15 from 3 in a fast paced 3-point drill. Though I think everyone in here knows he's the best shooter in the draft.
Jenkins just follows up hitting 12/15 from NBA three. Pretty stroke. | Jenkins has added some muscle to his frame. Looks more explosive than he did at Vandy.
Perry Jones is killing it in this workout. Playing as a 3. Speed, skill, explosiveness, soft jumper. Energy. Another Paul George?
PJ3 would be a great pickup if we end up staying at #11. Huge risk but oh, so much reward. I think with the right coaches and with the right teammates, he could really find consistency and become the steal of the draft.

Yeah, he was tripping with that Scottie Pippen reference. Nowhere as good as him, BUUUTTT, I think he can be, if he plays like a man. In Euroleague, you are taught more about finesse, and the fundamentals. He needs to put a little more muscle on, ...

Thanks Siccolo, not to knock on Bosh. I think if he was the number one option he would go back to being a beast. I miss making jokes about him playing for the RAPTORS. He is a great player.

I think what Stotts is doing is superb. His plays are great. I remember the only play he ever called for Meyers Leonard, against the Bobcats. Great movement, got LMA a good mid range look, got Batum a decent three look and the got Meyers way down ...

I watched Shabazz at the combine and he was a poor shooter.  In fact he did  so bad he did not even show up for drills in day two.  He may be a scorer not a shooter.  If he throws up enough shots he scores.  If someone looks a...
