    I've already discussed the unprecedented lack of significant player contracts set to be a part of the organization's payroll next season.  We all know about the flexibility and cap space coming.  We also are more than aware there is currently no head coach and no general manager.  Did you also know that both Chad Buchanan and Michael Born have extensions that only take them thru June of this year?  The draft is June 28th.  Buchanan, formerly Director of College Scouting and currently acting GM and Born, Director of NBA Scouting are both Pritchard hires and each received 2-year extensions in 2010.  Certainly looks as if an effort is being made to make this as attractive a purchase as possible, with the future owner having the ability to literally build his/her own product...from scratch.  No worries Stumptown.  Even in the event of a sale, the Blazers won't be leaving Portland.

    Draft day is coming June 28th, and it just got even MORE interesting.

    There's a lot of rainy days between here and June 28th. We need to focus more attention on THIS season. Grizzlies on tap, we beat the fur off them earlier in the season. Do it again!

    Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
