so I've heard some support for the guy. but I've also heard some discounting remarks about his play. First of all... he's young! pretty much any player is gonna have control issues in their first season. Now that I'm done defending a great ball player, what are all of your opinions on the idea of bayless as a starter on our team in the future? Ii find that some people tend to disregard him when they talk of potential blazers point guards.
I am a fan of ooh right in his face!

I have no doubt Bayless is a fine player, I just don't know how well his style of play fits into our system in the long term. Unless dude learns how to orchestrate the team and distribute the ball more effectively, he'll just be Jarret Jack v2.0.
I am a fan of Marcus Camby! :)

I think Bayless can be a good player if he works on a few things, and knowing his worth ethic he is working on those exact things. I really hate when i hear everyone saying trade bayless when he hasnt even really been given a chance to show his stuff but i guess everyone is entitled to they're Opinion, i just personally think its sorta stupid to write a guy off before giving them a chance. (Same kinda ppl that wanna get rid of Oden because he isnt putting up Shaq like numbers his first season).
Now if he doesnt improve on the things he needs to then ok fine we look somewhere else but i truely think he can become a very good PG for us if hes given the time to do so.

Jarrett Jack was never considered to play in the Olympics. Jarrett just beat out Sebastian Telfair for the starting job. But Telfair stunk kinda bad, and the Blazers were dumb enough to let Blake go to Denver for a season. So Jarrett had quite the heavy backpack.
Now Bayless did have some ups and downs in his rookie year. But that's allright, because at least now we know that he's human. Unlike his counterpart Brandon Roy, whom I believe is from a different planet, and has super powers and stuff. Hey, you just wait and see, Bayless + Team U.S.A = GOLD.

Team USA should = gold with or without Bayless, there really is no excuse for them not to bring the gold home every time. High density of great athletes, the NBA has become a much more international league, but most of the great players out there still come from the states. We're a HUGE nation so it makes sense. Not taking anything away from Bayless, but I don't see him as a decisive factor in our international play (not that he wouldn't add to the team).  I'm more excited to see what the team USA coaching can do for Oden who has the potential to be a massive star once he learns how not to foul, and to use his size to his advantage properly.
I am a fan of having faith in the future of Oden, and the skills of Roy

That keeps me up at night as well. I think because when he shot in the low post, he would is and back the guy down, and Stotts wants to avoid ISOs and much as possible. BUT WHY if he is so good at it? LMA is a really really smart player, and he kn...

Maniac he does not need play in Summer League. He does need to toughen up a lot and become more efficient.

That''s because Bosh has a good defensive coach. Also, Bosh is a more effective mid range shooter than LMA, because he only takes good wide open shots. I think if he was the number one option and took as many shots as LMA, or had to set up his own...
