Everyone knows the current position of the Portland Trail Blazers team. People said that life is like a wheel, sometimes we're on the ups and sometimes we're on the downs. So, how can we relate it with the team? Are we on the downs part of this life? I would say NO. We might be on the "unfortunate" situation where we trade Miller for Felton who have a struggling season, we might loss Roy due to his early retirement or we might be on the "suffering" situation where we know that Oden can't play this season. But, how it relates to the current situation?

For me, the key to success is NOT by firing Nate, begging Roy to come, blaming Felton or forcing Oden to play. For me, the key to success is by TAKE A BREATH, MAKE SOME EVALUATIONS, HAVE A BETTER COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE COACH AND THE PLAYERS, FORGET ABOUT THE PAST, KEEP HOLDING ON, TRUST ONE ANOTHER and KEEP MOVING ON. I know it's easy to say it but it's not easy to do it. However, let me tell you that I can write like this because I've been in this situation before.

When I was in high school, I was on the basketball team and my team is not a good team. There are lots of teams who are better than us. We were the underdog team. However, every time we loss, we took a breath, we did some evaluations for what we did wrong and what we did good, we keep practicing hard, we try to improve what we did wrong and try to praise those who did good, we communicate to each other and our coach, we trust one another that everyone will try their best on the court, and we try to move on. We didn't dwell with the past but we try to keep improve every day. At my senior year, we ended up winning few competitions.

Honestly speaking, people have been overreacting toward this team. I don't think the Blazers loss because of Nate McMillan. He is one of the best coaches in the league. If he's the reason for the Blazers loss, he won't be here for 7 seasons. I don't blame the players as well. All of them are good players. If they're not good, they won't be playing in the NBA.

    So, what's wrong then?

I think, the main problem is about trust. McMillan needs to trust the young players. The players need to trust one another. and the most important thing, they need to trust themselves that they are capable to score, to block shots, to steal, and to play aggressively. I've been watching almost all the Blazers game. I think, by giving the ball to Aldridge all the time won't solve the problem. The other players need to be aggressive in asking for the ball and try to make sure they're wide open so they can knock down some easy shots. They need to trust that they can do it. Don't hesitate in taking shots because when we hesitate to take the shot and we took it, the chance that the ball will go in is about 15%.

So, let's move on and be aggressive....

I argee with what your saying problem is that's not going to happen and by all means I don't put all the blame on Nate you just have to see it's obvious that the team has tune him out he a good coach but, when you lose the locker room your talking to a brick wall. In my opinion everyone to has to take responsiblity but, the one to who needs to take the most responsiblity is Paul Allen he has his hand on everything he makes all the decisions which explans why we don't have a GM he doesn't know what direction he wants the team to take he needs to give us some sign of life that he committed to this team and I don't mean send Larry Miller to tell us how committed as long as he owns this team we won't see a championship anytime soon because he's surrounded by yes men and he doesn't trust anyone to make decisions and do their jobs because they have to look over their shoulder  and when they do something he doesn't agree with bam their out the door. So until I see different I'm convinced that Paul is not committed to this team and he needs to give it to someone who will be.

No way warriors trade david lee for an unproven player that might not even have been drafted top 5 last year

But I feel like worse teams than us would offer that so you never know he might want to come back where it all started... then again he could hate us with a passion and want to go absolutely anywhere else

Hey there''s no guarantee Noel will go 1st. If I''m the Cavs I would definitely consider trading down.

I don''t like Dwight, but he''s a top center in the league. I say top not thee top because I''d easily pick Marc Gasol, Joakim Noah, and maybe even Roy Hibbert over him.

I flat out called out LA''s poor passing in a thread a few months ago. His passing is so much better than when he was young but he needs to get better.
