    Aaron brooks contract is gonna be over in China, and can only sign with Phx.

    phx- felton mathews
    portland- brooks and ridour-

    frees up time for williams also frees up space to resign wallace (if we want) and batum

    Let me get this right, You want Aaron Brooks and Luke Ridenour for Crawford, Felton and Matthews? I think you are putting too little value on our guys. Right now we can get the Lakers 1st round pick for Felton, Minnesota will give their 1st rounder for Crawford. Then there is Matthews and if we put him with Wallace, Oden and Camby in a trade to New Orleans for Kaman, Gordon and their unconditional 1st rounder, we would be getting better value. We could still get Brooks from Phoenix for Babbitt and cash. In all we would have 4 first rounders this draft and surely we could get (Davis or Jones III) at PF and a great PG prospect as well as a SF,C or SG prospect and another 1st, 2nd rounder to stack or trade for next year. I hope something turns out right for our team either with trades or the draft. We have a talented young team and I would hate to see a 3-5 year rebuild. Resign Batum to 5 years and make a few trades then draft well and Portland is a contender for years to come.

    My hope now is for some great picks aswell. I don't know if we are going to pull off a good trade for a PG. I sure as HELL dont want to give up any 3 of our players for Brooks and Ridenour. If we can pile up some picks for this draft it would be nice to get one of the solid players coming up.

    I think what Stotts is doing is superb. His plays are great. I remember the only play he ever called for Meyers Leonard, against the Bobcats. Great movement, got LMA a good mid range look, got Batum a decent three look and the got Meyers way down ...
