Nash for Batum

    Alright we have all heard the rumors; I do not like getting a 38 year old PG (albeit we need him) for Batum.  Batum is a proven commodity and I wish these rumors would stop.
     
    If that were to occur I think Phoenix should also throw in Gortat!  I do not like him when we play against him as he is a tough SOB, but could make the trade more beneficial for the Blazers

    Negative. Especially since batum has become a beast of a starter. He guards the best pg's of opposing teams and he's a handful when he's running people through screens. I like Nash,but the last thing we need is to bring in a fossil who's best years are behind him. Asset to us ? Yes. But for Batum ? Absolutely not.

    Even with the unprotected, I believe Batum could bring you more.  Who is to say Portland won't be lottery bound themselves?
