    http://www.rantsports.com/courtcrusades/2012/02/25/los-angeles-lakers-in-talks-to-acquire-raymond-felton-and-michael-beasley/

One of many articles I have read about the Lakers talking to both Portland and Minnesota about acquring Felton and Beasley. I have heard that contact has been made between sides, but other than that it does not look like something will be made immediately. My question would be what the Blazers would get in return if they only had a Laker-Blazer trade because in my opinion the Lakers aren't very deep. What do you think?

I don't see any potential in a trade where we give the Lakers Felton.  If Minn. is involved and we get someone from them...maybe?  We would need a solid PG out of this and the only ones we might snag would be Fisher, Ridnour, or Blake.  None of whom has the upside of Felton.  I don't think this situation does us any good.

    Lakers get Beas/Felton
    Portland gets the shaft...
    Wolves dump salary.

Unless portland gets like... Rubio out of it... I would say nope. :)

We would have to give up a lot more than just Felton if Gasol was coming here.  Looking at the Salaries, I don't see a feasible scenario where a 3 team deal works out. We have a PF in LMA and Gasol isn't defensive minded enough to be a step up at C... I wouldn't mind this so much if we saw more of Nolan and EW but please, somebody explain how this could even be close to reality...

If we are dealing Felton, we need to get another expiring contract back (Felton's expiring) to preserve our cap space and a 1st round pick.

Felton just has DreSyndrome...Symptoms include a)underperformance after first joining the team, b)being scapegoated by the fans for not helping the star player enough, c)too many turnovers, not fast enough, etc...

Watch how much better he'll look on the floor and in the boxscore during the next half of this season. Just like Dre, he has a unique, crafty style to his play and while it's hard to get used to for the teammates, when they all make it click it will seriously enhance our ability to do what we keep saying we're going to do; run a fast paced offense with crazy sick ball movement.

Give Felton time! At least give him a shortened, condensed season's worth of time, without any training camp or hardly any preseason or hardly any practices during the season.

Can't wait for the next game. Hopefully we'll see against Denver whether or not they've gotten in some good team practice during the all-star break! Cmon Ray, show em what ya got.

If the Blazers r goin' deal Felton (which I'm 1 of the seemingly few that believes we shouldn't)... we need something that will @ least land us a good pg & a pf/c; if we can't get a player that is a pf/c or just a c, then we @ least need Derrick Williams somewhere in this deal (he won't b rookie o' the year but he WILL b awesome in the years 2 come & if we can get him on the cheap, we HAVE 2 get him!); if we get a pg & only D-Will (not the 1 MOST ppl want but if we get Derrick... trust me, ppl will change their minds next year ;), Przy can @ least hold down the fort for us the remainder of this season until next for when we can make a real move for a pf/c or just a legit c.  I'd love if we could get Rubio in the same trade but I really don't c them giving him up (he's cheap AND he makes them a ton o' $!); we need 2 involve a 4th team that's got what we want/need.

i really think feltons fine he penetrates and dishes well but it seems like every time he passes in the paint whomever he passes to cant hold onto the ball so he gets a turnover i see atleat 3-4 of these plays idk whats wrong with the passes he does down there mabey he throws it to hard but it always bounces off of the recieving players hands

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
