The 7-2 start we had feels like an alternate reality.  Let's face it, we dropped some games we shouldn't have in the first half.  But as a franchise we have a knack for finishing strong.  We aren't that far off of our mark.  We have some great things to look forward to.  The recent adjustments to our line up puts a more efficient group on the floor and provides motivation to the guys who got benched.  It appears one of our old favorites will be returning to add some depth and toughness at the 5.  The young and talented Mr. Williams looks like he is about ready to explode with enthusiasm and potential.  We are witnessing the coming of age of one Nicolas Batum.  And...night in and night out we get to see the Best Power Forward In The League playing his heart out for US.  YES!!!

I believe that the lack of potential being reached by our guards is due to the retirement of B-Roy.  The psychological difference between playing well enough to keep the seat warm for THE GUY and being THE GUY is huge.  Thankfully...as a franchise...we have gotten back into the habbit of recruiting players with character and integrity (good riddance to Bob Whitsitt).  The kind of guys that can respond to a challenge, pull out of slumps and add to our chemistry instead of destroying it.  Talks of trades right now are impulsive and premature.  We should give this group more time to gel.  We have a fantastic group right now and with the proper motivation and a fan base that will stay supportive threw thick and thin we will achieve great heights in the near future.  Stay positive RIP CITY!

Rumors have shown that the Rockets are very interested in Dwight Howard and that the interest is mutual.

    I''d trade for Asik.

Sanders better shotblocker, better dunker and around the rim, Asik better defensively. I think Asik will have the better career.
