Are we ever gonna see what the rest of our bench has to offer??? Luke, Armon, Chris...they have talent lets put them out there and develope it!!!! There have been times its obvious the regulars need a break...give it to them Nate.

Is Armon Johnson hurt??? He is the only one we haven't seen this year..saw some good stuff last year.

We saw them play. Not much of a drop-off either, granted this was against the 2nd and 3rd units for San Antonio so naturally the bottom of Portland's bench is more talented.

And speaking on the Armon Johnson point:

    1. Camby
    2. Aldridge
    3. Wallace
    4. Batum
    5. Crawford
    6. Felton
    7. Matthews
    8. Thomas
    9. C. Smith
    10. N. Smith
    11. Williams
    12. Babbitt
    13. C. Johnson
    IL. A. Johnson
    IL. Oden

You can only have 13 active players on the roster this season. In a normal, non-lockout situation, you can only have 12 active players, which means in a normal season, we probably wouldn't have seen Chris Johnson either (or Luke depending on who they decided to have inactive).

Chris Johnson over Babbitt, without a doubt. Sooo much more potential, not to mention a much better fill to the problem at 4 or 5.

I agree 247, unless we add Przybilla like the rumors are saying. If that happens, I don't think CJ will see any time barring injury.

Still would rather keep CJ than AJ, no matter what role CJ is playing. With Pryz coming back, our ranks that can play Center will look something like Camby, Pryz, Thomas, and Chris Johnson... but at the guard positions, whether you want Armon to play as pg or sg (ready for neither), he's stuck considerably far behind Felton, Smith, Crawford, Mathews, and even Williams. On top of that, Batum has shown potential at the 2guard.

Sorry Armon, but when it comes down to your potential usefulness to this Blazers team, you're right down there with Greg.

I say move Armon & Babbitt. That Nevada connection was a gamble that didnt pay-off. Since Batum is now in the starting line-up, we need a defensive wing to spell Wallace.

@ D_pickett...With Joel only needing to pass his physical Sunday to join the squad now, I think Camby's days as a Blazer may be numbered, solidifying Johnson's spot on the roster.

Nah uhhh a defensive center, a backup big either position I don''t care, an experienced wing, without having to give up any draft picks. I''d probably do this but I just don''t know for sure.

I completely agree he could be that voice on the court we need. Lamarcus just isn''t that guy and Damian can learn some on court leadership from him. A small lineup when we need a score bad of Dame, Wes, Paul, Nic, and Lamarcus would be potent.
