How much are we willing to overlook Wallace's inconsistency offensively. I think Crash is a bit out of control at times and misses way to many point blank shots. I know he is an energy Guy, can put up good offensive numbers and a crowd favorite, but could we find a more consistent small forward and not lose too much? Question is, if you had the power, would you see what we could get for him with a trade?

    Not necessary.

Instead of the question being about "should we trade a former all star", maybe we should try talking about specifics that Crash is struggling with and how it can improve? I think it would be a much more interesting conversation then throwing up more trade names, and it might even sharpen up some blazer fans about the game so we're less likely to be plagued by constant videogame-esque trade talks if we're not currently the best team in the west...

Like you said Kenny, Crash has alot of talents that give him upsides, but some of those are fairly subpar right now... his energy disappears on the road, and more recently he seems to have a lot of trouble finishing at the rim. We all know he hurt his finger a little while ago, and that it was a nagging problem afterwards, but I don't want to let 1 finger on his shooting hand take all the credit. What else is he usually dominant at, but has been having trouble with recently?
And what can he do to fix it? As for the energy, part of it has to be conditioning and the constant game pace; hopefully that starts to work itself out, or maybe he should find a routine to work on his conditioning. If he continues to have shooting problems, due to his finger or otherwise, what can Gerald change to help solve the problem? Reigning in his willingness to "crash" (or get a little out of control) could cause his opponents to play defend him differently, and if he adds to that a little more vocal reaction when he gets contact, he could get a lot of trips to the line; he's already good at selling hits on defense, so why couldn't he do more of the same on the other end as his physical dominance starts to show holes? Another thing that could help would be going back to practicing fundamentals; Wallace has one of the flattest shots I've ever seen, second only to Andre Miller. That's why Andre doesn't shoot outside, but Gerald seems to have an affinity for it. His 3's and his FT's could be improved by forcing arc into his shot, slowly erasing bad habits that haven't glared in the past because of his other skills.

    Input please!!!

One way or another, I'd rather discuss this kind of thing than seeing a board full of trade talks after every bad game :)

The spirit is willing but the body isn't, Wallace only know one speed and that's allout but it's hard to be that player in this type of season when you don't get much rest I just think he just needs rest and the Allstar break couldn't be at a better time and I'm still banking on this team to have a strong second half of the season.

I'm not about to walk up to Wallace and say, "How come you play poopy sometimes?"

    1. First reason I wouldn't do this, is because Crash is one of our most solid

players. He's out there workin' hard even if his shot's a little off. This team

feeds off his energy, and we need him.
    2. Second reason I wouldn't walk up to

Crash and say that, is because he's a beast, and I'd end up becoming a lump

in the sidewalk where the tree roots are lifting up the pavers, and bicyclists

would run over me without thinking twice about it.

I completely agree. Pierce would bring a culture change. And we as a team really needed someone to help our young players through the tough times. Jeffires and Pavlovic were veterans who didn''t see much court time and from what I saw didn''t real...

Joakim Noah has had his injury troubles. His crazy game and high energy make him a constant injury threat. What separates him from Oden and Rose (I had to just mention him) is his willingness to play the way he loves.

Ibaka is a much better everything since he was two years ago. He even has the sweetest nicknames since The Big Shamrock, Shaq Fu. I mean Serge Protector, Iblocka and Air Congo. Dope.
