See above. This is a good trade that would net us a good back up PF and solid PG for much the same. Batum has a French buddy, L.A. a Texas pal of similar age and we'd get a few more wins this season while we look to sign a free agent center. Let's get this done Blazer GM. Wait, let's get it done, Paul Allen, Larry or Chad - whoever can make the important decisions for the team.

I do not believe D J Augustine is better than Felton and Wallace is definitely better than Diaw so why trade.

If we could resurrect the Felton who put up some good numbers while in New York then I would not want to trade him.   He would be a great addition.  Lets let Felton play out the next ten games and see what we have then relook at the possibility of a trade.

But are you glad no one's the GM? We need a PG that is consistent and coachable, and a good backup PF and/or center.

Is it because they lack an all-star and decent players, coach or vision? Augustin is better than the Felton we currently have and is an overachiever. Felton's been traded twice in two or three years. Thoughts on that? Diaw is consistently what he is. Wallace is consistently inconsistent.

I agree with you. I just want the team to play harder and smarter. My thoughts on trading involve their expiring contracts and essentially trading one for one(two 4 two in this case). I still believe Felton can fit. I don't think LaMarcus can sustain what he's done without more help in the paint; that includes scoring.

Too much trade talk, stop thinking about the Blazers for later like we're done with the Blazers for now. There is plenty to discuss improving about the team without giving up on the season and looking to the future.

There would include most draft picks and etc. ….

I think this is a pretty fair trade, opinions……

Just remember that we are biased, often times, and the players on the Blazers are better than those out there. It isn't true. Augustin and Diaw would be a good match and the ESPN trade machine is as smart as our emotions are. You know we need a more consistent point guard, center, better coach and backup power forward.
I do appreciate your input though.

I love that trade of course. I wonder if the Celtics would consider that. Rondo and Ray Allen here would be nice but it feels like the Celtics lose out and I don't think they're ready to cash out that way. Nice thinking on that one. Ooh, Rondo at point would be great and Allen shooting the three to win it would be okay.

I see the only way JJ stays is if we were able to trade LA for a dominant center, which I really do not see happening. But we would still have the same awful interior defense if we kept both. It''s not just one on one defense against opposing bigs...

Cmeese, his year would''ve been better without the injury, if he could maintain the first half of the year production that''d be great. But I have to agree that his contract is a little too much. I think he should really be worth around 8 mil.

Exactamundo. Seriously though, both of you''ll are right. The blame should be placed on the attacker, not Lillard. That being said, Dame should have stepped in.

I completely agree. Pierce would bring a culture change. And we as a team really needed someone to help our young players through the tough times. Jeffires and Pavlovic were veterans who didn''t see much court time and from what I saw didn''t real...
