trade talk is the most dramatic reaction to poor execution in rip city. if your players are playing poorly why would another team want them? there must be a less drastic way to fix what has been going on lately. maybe look to the current roster for answers before you ship out players and screw up chemistry and put pressure on an already stressed situation. i think the team should play a bit looser. they look uptight to the point where they try to do too much and end up being inefficient to say the least. they should relax a little while being aggressive enough to control tempo and take what the defense gives them. that's what an elite team does.

The only issue I had with this team is they didn't play with a sense of urgenty, Passion, Fire, and specially Pride they look like they were ok with losing and that's what annoyed me the most I think we have a good roster but, if you don't with the thing I mention you won't be sucessful and also we need the young guys to play more I liked that Nolan played mins tonight I mean we drafted him for a reason to give felton some rest and when he gets more experience Jamal can just be a scorer instead of being a score and trying to run the team and until that happens we won't see the real Jamal. All in all I have no issues with the roster just on how the roster is playing.

i think there are steps that cant be made without being dramatic and demanding for players to be traded, a few of which i pointed out here. take a look and comment. i'd like to know what you think.

I agree, making a huge move probably isnt the best idea. We need a true floor general though. someone who can light a fire under his teammates. Suprisingly or not, i believe that was in part Patty Mills last year. Someone needs to step up and take that role this year. You look at all our players, they are followers without a voice. Someone needs to be the voice.

Arm chair fans are the first to react like chicken little with as little as a single loss! Once Felton gets out of his own head, and just plays his game and stops worrying about what everyone else thinks, he will be fine.

I guess I don't have a problem with making a deal before the trade deadline, but it has to be one piece for another, like a Luke Babbitt, Chris Johnson, and/or Craig Smith for some bench pieces and to try to add a deep bench that Nate is more confident in. But I absolutely don't think we should trade half our starting lineup. I see a lot of people talking deals that send away Wallace and Camby, but I think the same fans would complain even worse when there was nobody pulling down offensive boards, poking the ball loose, or getting their long arms in the passing lanes. Yet I can't be too surprised since every time I play ball at the gym, everyone jacks up long shots or tries to get a fast-break layup; nobody will mess up their hair to box out, set a pick, or play some defense. So I guess what that says to me is that the general basketball fan only sees and understands scoring (and maybe the really flashy rejections). All these trade machine deals that are coming out typically look like they'd put together a roster full of players who don't think with a team mentality.

Maybe that's something I like about Felton, he gets upset with himself when he lets the team down. I'd like him to relax and quit beating himself up mentally, but it's better than a Dwight Howard, Chris Paul, LeBron James, or Carmelo Anthony who don't consider the toll on teammates when they publicly whine about wanting a trade.

This team is still over .500 and starting to click a little better, so let's keep moving the season forward rather than scrapping everything and trying to start over. I'd rather have a look at being 2013 or 2014 NBA champs than 2021 champs.

Joakim Noah has had his injury troubles. His crazy game and high energy make him a constant injury threat. What separates him from Oden and Rose (I had to just mention him) is his willingness to play the way he loves.

You know what is good about the draft you can usually move up and down if your willing. We could have gotten Drummond and everyone here knows it. We also could have taken Harkless, or Henson at 11 or moved back a few spots. We also could have draf...
