He could play better than Felton!

i think steve kerr hit the nail on the head. he was saying how there hasnt been much time for practice so he hasnt developed a trust yet with the unestablished players. personally i dont think he'd be losing much by starting nolan. felton is playing like crap right now which leaves the option open to experiment. look what happened in NY with jeremy lin, no choice but to let him play and look what happened, dude is averaging 25 points and 9 assists through 7 games. blazers need cohesiveness and execution.

I say give Smith a chance now rather then later and bring Felton off the bench with Crawford starting at the 2 spot with Matthews coming off the bench. We should look to trade Felton, Matthews, Babbitt, and Wallace if he won't resign now....... why lose him for nothing after the season? We should look to the bottom 6 teams in the league for a PG or a Big and their top draft pick for any combination of the four "trade-able" players.

i think before you consider trading a player you should look for answers from your own roster. i think nolan should back up raymond and jamal should stick to playing back-up 2. i understand nate's strategy with his current line-up, but it just isnt working. keep experimenting.

I don't think Nolan is starting material yet, but definatly needs more playing time and sooner is much better than later. This is one coaching decision I don't understand, and why wait until an imminent situation like when close to, or in the playoffs when an injury may occur. Then we hear the excuse of our bench was not experienced enough for that type of uptempo play.

Only problem with Nolan getting minutes is that Elliot gets freezed out. With Nic at the 2 and Wes as his backup, both Jamal and Elliot kind of get the short end of the stick. I know Ray had a good game tonight, but I'd like to see Nolan chip into his playing time.

Paul Allen said how do we get better?  I see no activity in the draft with no draft picks.  The trade possibilities are limited because of the value of our bench players.  We have no cap space.  So I think the improvement of our b...

First Game starts tonight. Houston is a tough first round opponent and they play exceptionally well at home. If we can steal a game or two at their place, I feel like we have extremely good chances.

P.S. Would anybody happen to have a...

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
